Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village
River Dale

Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

got your bible; got your gun

She can sense the small bit of surprise that lingers as her arm latches lightly around the crook of his own for stability and yet the liquid courage she had downed earlier does not bring her features to blushing simply from this momentary silence. His svelte voice calls forth again and brings a casual chuckle to fall from her lips in agreement to what it was that he had said. "I believe I can agree to that." A smile sparkles upon her lips for a moment as she looks to him, relishing in the beauty of his own simper.

She can feel him stand a bit taller, almost prouder, as he answers with his profession and a flicker of intrigue passes through her baby blues. "Oh? Am I standing in the presence of a carefully masked billionaire perhaps?" Another light bought of laughter as she looks to him once again, her tone more serious this time. "It must be nice to go wherever you please at anytime you want." Being a wedding planner was never exactly her career of choice and yet it was something she just happened to fall into. It allowed her the freedom to never be stuck in an office all day and yet she still felt.. trapped. There is so much more to experience and see in the world if only she could just up and go.

"You'll have to tell me of these travel stories someday.. hopefully soon." Her voice grew soft as she looks down, catching only the slightest of shadows moving from the corner of her eye and yet she does not think too much of it. Erik's voice brings her back to his presence and she nods as she begins to answer. "Yes, actually, a cat named Panda." She awaits the strange looks or the assumption that she is 'that crazy cat lady'. After all, who names their pet Panda?

Another silent moment falls between them both and she focuses only on the sound of her heels tapping against the concrete before she looks up to see her townhome just up the small hill before them. "I'm just right there, I'll be fine if you'd like to make your way back home. I normally don't keep my company so late.. or early in the morning rather." A demure smile plays at the edge of her lips as she feels rather ashamed that she has kept him this long. As if he didn't have a choice. But she couldn't get her hopes too high after all; they all left eventually.
