Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Her relationship with Troy seemed to be progressing rather well. They enjoyed the evenings with one another, occasioning going on meaningful dates while other times just enjoying spending time with each other at either his hotel room or in her mansion. Their sex life was beyond perfect, altogether satisfying. Amelia still hadn't quite gotten brave enough to show Troy to her dungeon, but her relationship with him was getting to the point where she wanted to show him the more dominating side to her. She didn't share that part of her life with just anyone, so sharing it with Troy would be a big step for her. Another big step would be that she wanted Troy to move in with her. She hated that he had to pay a hotel to stay in monthly. It seemed far more convenient for everyone if he just stayed at her place.

This particular evening, Amelia had invited Troy over for drinks â€" hoping that she could ease into the conversation about him moving in with her. She wanted to spend every waking minute with Troy. She was getting quite serious about him and wanted him to know her intentions.

However, as she finally rose from her sleep as the sun was settling, Amelia began to feel rather ill. It had been centuries since she had felt ill before. In fact, she doesn't remember ever being ill after she was turned. But tonight, she felt queasy and a little faint. Her breasts were sore and her body overall fatigued. Grabbing her cell phone, she opened up a new text for Troy. "Hey, I'm not feeling well today. Can you bring some soup?" Soup is what would make her feel better, right? She sighed. Why was she starting to get sick now?

She was a flurry of confusion as he pulled on a simple pair of sweat pants and a lose fitting camisole. Poor Troy. He was probably thinking he was walking into a night of good foreplay and sex. Unfortunately, Amelia just wasn't herself and she couldn't figure out why. She knew she felt odd. With her heightened vampire senses, she almost felt like something was feeding on her. It made her crave blood more so than normal. And now that she had tasted Troy, something made her crave his blood too. It was very strange and confusing. Maybe Troy had some ideas.
