Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

death incarnate & night triumphant

Oh, gods how he wanted this woman with every fiber of his being. How he was being swept away into that desire, that selfish need, and yet, he didn't mind. He wanted this, he wanted her. Even if she would only be within his life for a short time, he would make those years count. He hardly cared that she was human and he was an immortal, those feelings the woman sparked in him were unlike anything he had ever felt before and there seemed to be something physically drawing them together. As if fate had decided they would be together. Perhaps this moment, this woman was the reason he had never fallen in love, never decided to have a queen at his side. Her touches were electrifying, his skin entirely sensitive as they press to each other. And as she brings her hand to plant on his chest, he leans in and devours her lips, planting kisses along her, gently at first only to increase with such intensity.

Her groan that so emits from her luscious mouth has Andras pressing against her harder, dragging the woman onto his lap as he caresses her lower back, his other hand planted on the side of her neck as he nips carefully at her earlobe. Enjoying those ragged breaths that are being drawn into her lungs, he continues to trail those kisses along her jawline until he fiercely kisses her again, seeking entrance to her mouth. As their tongues intertwine, he can't help but feel his own groan of approval slip past his lips as his tongue strokes hers feverishly. Hardening against her, he's so very tempted to take her here and now in this hot springs, under those twinkling stars. How he desperately wanted to make love with this woman, damn the consequences, he would have her. The faerie king could die at this very moment and be entirely happy, content even with her in his arms.

Her scent is completely wrapped around him, his own desire growing to match hers as his fingers trail across her flushed skin. His name upon her luscious lips as she gasps it out has him pausing for only a moment, his own desire increasing by ten-fold. How he loved hearing his name on her lips in such a guttural way, how he planned to have her saying his name multiple times tonight. His eyes are hooded as he pulls back slightly, his nose gently pressed against her face, his breathing coming in ragged pants as he purrs her name back to her in a questioning manner. The man truly wanted her but wouldn't push her, not until she was ready, no matter how much heat flooded his body. He can almost see a touch of uncertainty in her eyes and yet, the man patiently awaits, his strong body pressed against her, watching, waiting. He pulls back slightly, only to watch her carefully, hoping the minor distance will help clear her head.

Her next words bring shock to his features as he pulls back even more, regarding her with such astonishment. It was as if a bucket of ice water had been thrown over him, cooling his blood and his desire. Though it threatened to take him over still. There's a moment where he pauses, his eyes wide as he watches her. She had never been intimate with someone? How could such a beautiful woman be unable to lure men into her bed? It was so entirely bizarre to him, it takes a long moment before his mind is able to grasp just what she is saying to him. He sighs, which ends up coming out more as a groan, as he leans forward and plants a delicate kiss on her lips. What in the world was Andras thinking? She was human and far too breakable! He could hardly control himself around the woman as is and if he had become intimate with her, there was no guaranteeing he wouldn't very well hurt her.

He kisses her again before pulling back, desire still raging through his eyes as he grins at her, "I think we both should be off to bed," he murmurs, hazel eyes inspecting her features, "Separately," he adds so as not to confuse the woman. How he wanted to take her to his room, to finish what he started but he couldn't bring himself to take that final step, to take away her first time. It should be someone that she truly wanted to spend the rest of her life with, not some faerie immortal. Yet, still that selfishness rages through him, he didn't want to let her go yet, those feelings of his for her were so entirely prominent within him. Kissing her forehead, he gently moves her to the side of him again, releasing her with some difficulty, before standing. "Let's spend the day together tomorrow," he states, glancing down at her, "Goodnight, Lani darling," he bids her a goodnight and slowly makes his way to the other side of the pool, not allowing himself to look back, lest he change his mind. Stepping out of the water, he wraps his towel around his lower half before disappearing into his bedroom where he spent a rather long night with hardly any sleep, convincing himself Lani was better off without him.

Her heat beat is what lures him into that sleep where he dreams of her pinned beneath him.
