Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village
River Dale

Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

death incarnate & night triumphant

Andras is entirely pleased that Navi makes a move to question Dorian as he so squats down and begins drawing that jacket, a faint smile lining the corners of his lips as he teases the fellow monarch in turn. Andras's brows raise in amusement as Dorian responds, happy to see that the man was beginning to warm up, that the very idea of being stuck in Somnia wouldn't happen. After they crest that hill, Troy is quick to comment on Dorian's utter surprise and though the man held teasing notes, he's still surprised to see the King answer with honesty. Andras blinks at the conversation that follows, the Fae only just recently learning that Dorian was not a legitimate heir to the throne. Andras was hardly surprised to find out, though he had been surprised to meet the father of Dorian. Matteo being everything that Dorian was... not. Still, Andras patiently listens to that story only nodding in Dorian's direction when he had finished. It was a given he would keep that secret, take it to the grave if necessary.

As their conversation shifts, Andras quickly explains as best as he can to Dorian, allowing the man the time to digest his words and yet, he can see that genius mind of Dorian's already working, his eyes holding that careful calculation. Andras was happy to say that Dorian was a faerie of the light, knowing full well if he had gone any other direction in life, the man could have reaped destruction wherever he might have gone, the fellow faerie smart enough to make this world bend a knee. Pushing the absurd thought away, he turns to Troy then, listening to his comment about Amelia not being able to come until after the baby was born. Giving him a nod of acknowledgment, "When you're ready, you may bring her and the baby here anytime, just give me a day or two in advance so I might have a room prepared for your family. Your room currently is not set up for children," Andras smiles gently before turning back to Dorian.

"Yes, I was very grateful I came into my power this way, I doubt we would ever see a city like this in our world ever again," Andras sighs as his hazel eyes travel back over the village, faint laughter echoing across the winter wonderland. And truly, it was a thriving city, the citizens content and happy in their lives here. "I think regarding Sebastian, we can work something out, Dorian. Explaining this is difficult," he pauses, sweeping his hand out, "If someone were to tell me there was an entire Fae city in another world, I wouldn't believe them. I would laugh and tell them they were liars," Andras states simply with a shrug. No one would believe such a place existed and yet, he hardly wanted Dorian to go through any issues with his soon to be husband. The last thing Andras ever wanted to do was cause issues between the two men. "If Sebastian would allow me into his mind I'd be happy to show him this place if that would help," he states simply, admitting that telepathy he so wielded. It was a day for sharing and this was his court, he would hide nothing from them.

After a moment, he notices the longing in two sets of eyes, a soft smile so adorning his lips then, "I promise we will have ample time to explore the city, there are people I want you all to meet and several restaurants I would like you to try," Andras says easily before he asks if everyone is ready. When they are all in agreement, Andras turns on a heel and begins to lead them down that slope, the walk much easier this time as they follow that brick path for awhile, only for a massive lodge to come into view. Rather than something old it was surprisingly modern, the building towering over the trees surrounding it, the front door a deep red. Reaching that entrance, he kicks his shoes, knocking the snow off, before opening it, leading them into the front room. Couches line one wall, a fireplace settled in the middle of the room, a massive mahogany oak table is strategically placed and the far wall is floor to ceiling windows, allowing in as much natural light.

The fireplace roars to life by itself, showing that magic that so occupies this world as they settle in that front room, Andras gesturing with a hand to take a seat at any number of the couches. Once everyone is inside, an older woman comes into view, her delicately pointed ears deducing her as Fae, gray hair revealing how very old she was. Smiling, she takes the crowd in, "Hello," she dips her head respectfully as she brushes the front of her apron. "I would like you to meet Ida," Andras says, smiling fondly at the older woman, "Ida, this is Troy, Navi and Dorian," he introduces them one by one as Ida's keen eyes take the three in. "Ida is a caretaker of sorts, anything that you need you can ask her, she will also show you your rooms when your ready, but for now, I suspect you all have questions before we get you more settled." Andras explains as he slips his jacket off, sliding it over the back of one of those oak chairs. Hazel eyes turn to Navi then, surprised at how quiet the girl has been, he's still not sure if she's upset at him though Somnia seemed to have distracted her, at least for a little bit. "Ida, will you fetch us some drinks?" He asks pleasantly before turning back to the three of them, "My goal for today is to answer as many questions that you might have. In my eyes, we are family and I will not withhold any information from you," he nods, seriousness so entering his eyes in that moment.
