Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

He continued to watch Amelia like a hawk while the phone rang on the other end of the line. He paced restlessly, going to the bathtub to touch Amelia, brush her hair behind her ears, talk soothingly to her, whatever he could to help distract her or ease the pain. He snapped his gaze up when he thought he heard the porcelain of the tub cracking a little under her hands. Scowling in concern, he furrowed his brows and came back to run his fingers through her hair, massaging her scalp. She kept rearranging herself and the phone just kept ringing. He was growing irritated, his jaw clicking. He slipped his hand into the water to work soothing circles on her skin and felt the water growing cold so he moved to drain out a little so he could run hot water to warm it up for her. That was about when he heard the popping sound, his hand jerking back as his eyes widened. Was that the baby?!

But then he saw the ripples in the water and looked at Amelia. "Did your water just break? Can I hurry the doctor here now?" She held onto his arm and he clenched his jaw and bit his lip as her nails dug in. It hurt like hell but he wasn't about to complain. She was carrying his child, dammit. He wasn't about to make a peep about a little pain compared to what she was going through. When she asked about underwear, he nodded almost numbly as he went to grab some from her dresser. He held it up in question. "Um, but don't you have to stay...well, undressed down there for this?" He was a little lost. He handed the underwear to her though and watched her put some cloth material in there. He raised his brow but he knew better than to ask what it was cause he probably still wouldn't know. He held onto her for support as she put on the underwear, trying to be gentle and patient with her. As her weight suddenly thrust upon him, he grunted with the effort but wrapped her safely in his arms and held her up. He would hit the ground first before letting her fall.

He let her lean against him, gently whispering in her ear and stroking her hair slowly as she asked him to get some blood for her. He nodded, kissing the top of her head and making sure to bring her closer to the bed so she could sit on it or at least hold onto it for support while he went to get the blood. He didn't want to leave her at all but he'd finally gotten ahold of the doctor and she said she was coming. She'd better be damn sure she was coming or he would go hunt her ass down. Amelia needed someone who actually knew what they were doing. He was in way over his head here. He gave her another hesitant look and she told him she would be okay. She even told him to grab a snack and take a bathroom break and he shook his head with a smirk. "No chance. I can't eat or even think about my bladder right now. Those things can wait till the baby's here." Squeezing her hand in reassurance, he moved to get the blood and brought it to her. She leaned in to kiss him as she took it and he returned it lovingly, pouring all of his strength and adoration into the kiss as she thanked him and started to drink.

He didn't mind watching so much now. There used to be a time when it made him uncomfortable but no more. He knew another contraction was happening as she doubled over but this time it was different. She started moaning and he moved to support her. "What do you need me to do, baby?" He asked with wide concerned eyes. Then she told him to call the dr and he nodded, pulling out his phone again. She answered on the first ring this time, telling him she was almost there. "Hurry. It's time. She's pushing." He said in a rush before he hung up the phone. The butler already knew to show the doctor up when she got there so he wasn't planning on leaving Amelia's side at all. She kneeled on the bed and supported herself against the post and Troy moved his fingers in circles over her back, anything to help her aching muscles. He felt the need to do something, anything. He hated hearing those moans of pain and knowing there was nothing he could do to help.
