Hawethorn Village

Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

TRYING NOT TO WASTE MY TIME

The full responsibility had not yet quite hit him as he holds that bundle of fur and puppy breath in his arms. Right now he isn't thinking about how this pup is going to wake him up early the next morning, how when he leaves to go and purchase food and a leash and collar that he will return home to an excited, jumping puppy who gets a little too excited and leaves dribbles of urine on the floor, causing Benjamin to crouch down on his hands and knees and scrub the floor clean. He isn't even thinking about how it will feel to have soft, baby fur nestled in his arms, with a cold black nose that bumps his cheek occasionally. The man with dark hair is thinking of other things, like what awesome name to give her, or what a total chick magnet she will be, or how fun it is going to be taking her to soccer practices and teaching her to play fetch.

It all breaks down to a boy and his dog.

No, Benjamin certainly did not know that this girl had spent a large portion of her time in the wilderness as a coyote because that would be ludicrous, downright impossible actually. Well, so he thought at least. "That's good," he responds. "I don't really believe in luck. You cant blame luck for you choices in life, you know?" he says shrugging his shoulders slightly.

As his arms droop, Malia mentions how the puppy could walk. And while that is certainly true, it hadn't even actually crossed Benji's mind. Amber eyes turn towards her as he hugs the pup closer to his chest. "But she's so tiny," he says, his voice raising slightly in pitch, before he realizes what exactly he had just said and how he had said it. He clears his throat, attempting to maintain whatever manhood he had left after that display.

"Yeah that's a good idea actually," Benjamin responds to her suggestion about trying to wander. "I just...dont really like the feeling of getting lost," he says and shakes his head as if to rid himself of the feeling. When she mentions mapping it out by scent, Benjamin breathes a moment of laughter. "Yeah, I'll do that, and while I'm at it I will just mark my territory," he rolls his eyes playfully before one more laugh brushes passed his lips.

And then in a moment's notice Malia is yelling at him to watch out and before he has a chance to react, Benjamin feels his entire body lurch, like his insides were attempting to switch places with his outsides. And then, without any time to think, he feels himself back on solid ground, though his knees give out perhaps from shock or maybe his human body had difficulty teleporting, but he drops to his knees, the pup jumps from his arms and licks his legs gently. "Whaâ€"" is all he manages to sputter out as his amber eyes gaze up at Malia wondering exactly who or what this chick was.
