Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

He was amazed by the recovery time from birthing but then its not like anything like this has happened before to compare it to. She was already teasing him in all the right ways and he wouldn't say he disapproved of all the dark thoughts in his mind. He assured her that she should get checked by the doctor before they try anything and he swore he saw disappointment in her eyes as she said he would never hurt her and he smiled warmly. "You're right. Not intentionally anyway." He liked that she was confident saying that. She wouldn't hear of it when he cut his hand to offer the blood to the baby, instead calling for a bottle that was brought up to her. He sighed, guessing that would have to do for now but he already knew from her time in the womb that the baby liked his blood so he figured it was only a matter of time before Amelia would have to give in.

He watched Amelia's features as their daughter drank from the bottle hungrily. She seemed to be going through all kinds of emotions and he didn't like that he couldn't read a single one. Finally he reached out to gently massage her shoulders as he laid a gentle kiss on the side of her neck. "Tell me what's on your mind, love. I want to help, if I can." He couldn't help that certain parts of his anatomy were awakened from the shared kiss and the close proximity to her. It seemed her was insatiable when it came to Amelia. He asked about the baby's name and she got quiet and thoughtful. He was patient, peppering her neck with soft butterfly kisses as he waited. Then she gave the name as Tenley and he smiled. He liked it already. Their Tenley. He reached around her to gently caress Tenley's head as she drank.

Amelia turned her gaze to his and he glanced up as she said the rest of the name, his breath stopping in his throat for a minute as he searched her expression. She gave the baby his last name. He felt like his heart was about to beat right out of his chest. He couldn't even think straight for a minute as he tried to take it all in. Finally he swallowed and grinned. "Really? My last name? Are you sure?" His brows knitted together. He didn't want her to regret it.
