Anacosta Heights

Hawethorn Village

Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Amelia sighed against his chest as he asked her to tell him what's on her mind. The thoughts that plagued her mind were thoughts that he would never truly understand. While she knew it was her duty to tell him all her fears, she wasn't sure if he would understand them in the same way she did. She felt this overwhelming protectiveness over their little girl and just the thought that someone might want to hurt such an innocent child made her fume with emotion. "I'm afraid you cannot help. I just cannot help but wonder just how hard it will be to keep her safe. I almost don't want to share her with anyone for fear that what she is might get out." Dark hunters would seek her out to sell her to the highest bidder. Surely there were people out there who would want to run tests on her to see why she was born instead of made. She would be sought out and Amelia could only hope that she had the strength to protect her.

However, she tried not to think too hard on the matter, instead focusing on telling Troy just what she wanted to name the baby. The light kisses he pressed to her neck made her bite her lip softly in restraint. She might be turning him on, but he certainly knew how to make her want to beg for him.

Once the baby's name had been announce, she waited almost on edge to hear his thoughts on the name. He didn't seem to baulk at Tenley, so perhaps that was a good thing. But when she told him that she wanted Tenley to have his name, she felt him pause. Slowly, she turned around so she could face him, wanting to see the reaction he had. He looked pleased as his eyes finally lit up and a smile appeared.

However, his question had her smiling as she leaned forward to press a soft kiss to his lips. She brought her free hand to caress his cheek lightly as her eyes settled on his. "I couldn't be more sure. She's your daughter, Troy...the world deserves to know it." What Amelia didn't say was that she would gladly take his last name too if he ever asked. She loved the man in front of her more than anything. No one had ever captured her heart quite like he had. And while their relationship was not exactly the most traditional, it seemed to work for them.
