Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

She lived for these lessons. Having something to focus on helped her more than anything. She liked learning. She liked being able to improve at something until she felt like she was excelling at it. She liked that Frost wanted her strong. Caesar tolerated her showing her strength cause it only made him want her more, but he wanted to control her, overpower her, dominate her. Frost wanted her to grow stronger, to survive and thrive in this new world. He was a good alpha by her standards. She could tell he was proud of her when she knocked the haybale across the yard. She was proud too. When he quizzed her about weak body parts, she thought back to instinct and her fights as a coyote, but also considered the anatomy of a human. She couldn't help but picture a certain part of Henry's anatomy when he mentioned the area between a guy's legs. Give her a break, she didn't have much experience elsewhere in knowing what was hidden beneath a man's jeans.

She saw the quirk of his lips though when she asked if she should grab it. She tilted her head and quirked a brow when he told her it only popped up when around a woman. She would have told him then that shouldn't be a problem since she was in fact, a woman, but she bit her tongue, letting him finish. He said she could grab it but he should knee or kick it and that would bring a man down. She smirked. "Oh, so do I get to practice now? You know...so I can get a feel for it like I did with the punching?" She raised a brow and waited, pretending to be patient. He turned her attention to kicking the haybales and she lost her focus pretty quickly. How do you stand on one leg and kick at something with all your weight without completely losing it and falling on your face? It was so frustrating. Then he really had to screw the pooch when he started asking about Henry. Really? He had to do it in the middle of the most irritating lesson ever?

She could tell he recognized Henry's name. So he probably knew he was in Tetradore's pack. He may even know Tetradore was his Maker. Not that any of that mattered to Malia. Henry was her friend before he even knew he was a Were. She kept trying to kick but if anything, she felt like she was only getting worse at it, not better. Frost told her to try just touching the haybale and she scowled thoughtfully before doing what he said. It was easier just to worry about lifting her leg and touching it, so she kept doing it. She could feel her confidence slowly growing. She started to feel her lips tugging into a smirk again, that is, until Frost mentioned Henry again. Her gaze cut to him, already sure that whatever he was about to say, she probably wasn't going to like it. She knew others might not approve of what Henry and her had done...twice now. She even knew it wasn't really the right thing in either case. But her heart was in the right place. That's what she kept telling herself. She did it out of comfort, cause he needed the company, the confirmation of his own masculinity in this big frustrating ordeal he's going through with Sterling. She did it out of friendship.

Her foot hit the haybale a bit more firmly when he said Henry's name. She cleared her throat and tried to keep herself calm but she was rather protective over her friends, especially Henry. She knew he was only concerned for her but she could take care of herself. She had for as long as she could remember. He was her alpha but he wasn't her dad. She would hang out with whoever she wanted to. She felt herself bracing for his next words, ready to defend herself and Henry till her dying breath. His next words surprised her. Her brow quirked up as he told her he was glad she had friends. She crossed her own arms, watching him with humor in her eyes as he brought up sex. She could tell he wasn't all that comfortable with it. Then he told her to be careful, that Henry's other half could be jealous. She rolled her eyes. "I know that, Frost. Mates in the animal world don't 'sleep around' either so it's basically the same thing. Except that animals mate for life and apparently humans jump from mate to mate throughout their lifetimes. I'll be careful."

She smirked. "Oh and it's a man. Not woman. I heard about this thing called homosexual or something in a bar. I think that's what it is but he apparently still likes women too. Oh well." She shrugged. She was actually really surprised that he was so open to talking about sex. Most people seemed to cringe away from it. When he brought up protection, she laughed, snorting a little before she nodded and grinned at him. "Yes, Frost, we're using 'protection.' I don't want kids any time soon." She scoffed and went back to touching the haybale, though the awkwardness of this conversation was granting her strength. Her touches were becoming more like jabs and her balnace was getting better. Maybe this wasn't so bad after all. He told her her aim was improving and she smiled despite herself.
