Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

no we're never gonna survive

we built this city on broken glass

Malia was swift in her assertion of just the right places to attack another human being to assure that maximum damage. She was quick witted, sharp and more then that, she was made to survive. Frost hardly surprised at the consideration she gave that very query of anatomy before offering those locations based purely upon the logic of a human body and too, he suspected, her experience in her animal form and what had worked best in those instances. His head nodded in simple agreement before offering those select few locations she may have failed to consider if only for lack of experience with fighting in her human form against another human. The groin area, in particular, seeming to amuse her most of all. That sudden mention of that area's ability to 'stick up' was unanticipated and yet Frost allowed his lip to quirk all the same in that touch of amusement that seemed to find him in the wake of that very discussion. His eyes managing that good-natured roll and yet, he supposed, it was good that she had learned....something else about anatomy. The very image of that man pictured within her mind affording him some indication of just the sort of anatomy lessons she may well have had. Frost attempting to assure her all the same of a more efficient manner of disabling a man without reaching for any such parts. The girl suddenly demanding to know whether or not they might practice as the stallion allowed one violet eye to arch upwards.

"I think that practice session is better left for another time. You will just have to take my word for it on how efficient it is."

That soft chuckle found him all the same. Frost entirely capable of being almost...pleasant, when he tried. That lesson one he was perhaps unwilling to teach. His attention returned easily to that next lesson then. The man inclined to go through that idea of kicking and how best to begin learning the different ways her figure was capable of moving- and delivering damage. Malia, as before, showed that same eagerness to learn and truly the woman did have some raw talent yet, her kicking was considerably less accurate then her punches had been. Her features doing little to hide that frustration she felt at a success not quickly found and yet this would be a good lesson in turn. The real world, the human world, was hard. It was frustrating, irritating, often made little sense and yet if she could learn patience she would only continue to succeed further. Frost holding every assurance Malia was the sort of woman to continue to practice until she succeeded. He was merely assisting her in knowing where to begin. No one should be left to learn those things alone as he had. He refuses to allow any member of his pack to be helpless when they had no need to be.

His suggestion of slowing herself further and merely placing her foot on that area she was determined to kick readily seemed to irk her. He could feel that frustration through that bond itself let alone that expression on her face and yet she did it all the same. Her confidence seeming to return with each more accurate touch. Frost taking that opportunity to ask her about the very man within her mind. Henry. Hmmm, of all the men in this city she had somehow found Tetradore's vector and yet- the war horse hardly found he minded in any true sense. Malia was her own woman, her own person- an adult and one capable of making her own choices in every sense. If she had some desire to carry out a relationship of sorts with the man then so be it. Frost hardly inclined to stop her and yet- he hardly had any intention of allowing any harm to come to her either. Physically or emotionally. The stallion remaining silent for several moments in consideration of just that sort of relationship Henry and Malia had found themselves in and too- exactly what Henry might very well be getting out of this arrangement. An awful lot, it seemed, if he had a woman waiting at home too. Still, those words he offered were chosen carefully all the same. It was hardly his place to tell Malia who she could see or what she could do with them, instead, he merely sought to arm her with that very information he feared she might lack. At least then those choices could be made more efficiently and Henry given less chance to take advantage. Frost perhaps inclined to find...suspicion in other men when it came to those women he watched over.

His insistence that he was pleased Malia had made a friend seemed to surprise the woman as she continued to work on those kicks, he strikes becoming more forceful. Frost pausing once before in search of some way to bring up those sexual relations he held every belief were occuring. What Malia did or did not know about sex, after all, remained to be seen. Whether she had taken a mate in her coyote form a area of her life he had never questioned and yet those human and animal interactions were hardly the same in any sense. That undeniable discomfort her took in that topic surely clear and yet Frost was nothing if not practical in every sense. Sex was a part of life. Another facet of that survival in the human world he simply refused to allow her to remain vague on. A woman like her, an attractive woman, would find the attentions of men a near constant presence. Some men more then willing to take advantage of a naive girl. Her own arms folded across her chest then as she turned to face him. The stallion near relieved to learn that she had at least some idea about those more intimate affairs and that difference between human and animal mates, not to mention the possibility that Henry, in this case, might well be leading her astray whether he intended to do it or not. A man in love, after all, did not seek pleasure in the arms of someone else. Malia, he suspected, knew just that even if she was yet to come to terms with her own feelings on the affair. That her choice alone to make. Malia comparing those animal relationships then as his head nodded once more. His own shoulders shrugging then, his own expressionless features managing an almost....sheepish look.

"Have you ever seen a herd of wild horses, Malia? One stallion, like me, has a harem of females. He sleeps with all of them. Not all animals are monogamous, that is, not all of us mate for life- but that human part of me overrides that. I have Nadya and only Nadya. It's about choices. Humans are very much more prone to choose one mate at a time. As for being careful, good."

The world was never truly clear cut and yet Malia, at least, seemed to have some notion of the idea that perhaps her friends view of relationships was not entirely the same as her own. Still, he supposed, their sleeping together hardly affected him in any real sense. Provided she did not come home to tell him she was pregnant any time soon. The very idea of that so readily seeming to prompt the rest of those words. God he hoped she knew about protection. That was a conversation he had hardly prepared himself for today and yet if it was needed then so be it. He damn well wasn't about to let her go without that information. His own train of thought momentarily halted by that sudden admittance Henry was gay. That near genuine surprise managing to find his otherwise apathetic creatures. Henry so apparently playing for both teams, so to speak. Frost managing that sigh once more. How typical henry should be gay- yet another topic he found himself wading into with the woman before him. One he had held little intent to address at all if only because it had hardly occurred to him.

"Homosexual is when two men sleep with each other, lesbians are two women who sleep together. In general same-sex relationships are referred to as gay. Someone like Henry who sleeps with both is Bisexual. Bi meaning two, because he sleeps with either or."

She might as well learn the words, Frost near praying she would not ask him how they slept together. Though given the time she would surely have to consider anatomy he near anticipated that very question sooner or later. In the least she seemed to know about protection. The stallion visibly relaxing once more with that knowledge that he would hardly need to find her a picture or some other method of attempting to explain those dynamics. Malia seeming insistent she was not ready for children yet. Frost nodding firmly once more.

"Good. Children are a significant undertaking, believe me, I have ten. I don't recommend it before your ready and I say it from experience. If any man ever tries to convince you to sleep with him without protection then I encourage you not too. No methods are as effective as condoms- no matter what a boy tells you. As for your Henry..."

His features frowned slightly once more somewhere beneath that fringe of white hair, the stallion contemplating that very thought before glancing up toward his subordinate once more.
"Invite him over for dinner one evening. I'd like to meet to your friend. Tetradore and I have been working on improving pack relations. It would be a good step to have his vector here and your presence will undoubtedly make him feel more welcomed."

Those very words were offered in that same cool, easy manner as always, Frost giving away little if any off his true thoughts on the matter. The stallion rather intrigued to meet this man whom seemed to have struck up something of a friendship with his subordinate, even if he was unsure of the nature of it. His attention returned in full to Malia then as his head nodded to that hay bale.

"Pretend that bale is an attacker see if you can combine two punches and a kick and knock it down. Let us see what you've learned so far. Don't worry to much for speed at the moment, that will come. For now, focus on accuracy of those strikes."
