Hawethorn Village

Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

we built this city on broken glass

Malia's simply insistence that it must be 'nice to be a male' merely prompted that small simper to his lips once more, Frost chuckling slightly at the concept and yet he hardly made any room to argue. In truth the stallion had given very little concern to which gender he might prefer to be and yet, he supposed if given the choice, he would have been unlikely to choose female. Women seemed decidedly complex. Besides, the idea of childbirth was equally as unappealing to consider in any sense. Malia evidently pleased at his own faithfulness to nadya in turn. The equine content in the knowledge his pack seemed to have found a harmony amongst itself. Malia and Nadya both spoke highly of each other in turn, that very comraderie an almost necessary part of that pack bond and one he was pleased seemed to have established itself amongst them. After all, a pack was only as strong as its members. A unified pack, one comprised of beings that held a genuine care for one another, would always be a powerful one. Frost's head simply nodded in agreement to that notion off his own monogamy before that conversation shifted in an unexpected direction. Malia promptly announcing Henry's other....friend to be another man. Tetradore's vector so apparently gay, or in the least bisexual. The very idea seeming as baffling to Malia as it had once been to Frost himself those years ago. The womans face scrunching slightly as she declared humans to be more open-minded and flexible then she had anticipated. Frost's own shoulders shrugging lightly.

"For animals sex is about reproduction. For humans it's about pleasure really. People do it for reproduction of course but its largely because they enjoy it too. When your goal is pleasure instead of offspring you have more options for partners. At least, that seems to be the human understanding. A lot of humans don't agree with homosexuality though so be cautious as to who you speak to about it."

He hardly needed her to go about asking people for their sexual preference. Her innocent curiosity easily mistaken for some sort of political stance that would no doubt result in the sort of argument Malia believed could be settled with the very fists Frost was helping her to become more proficient at. Still, the very idea that Malia clearly had no interest in children at any stage was a relief in itself, his very figure seeming to relax slightly at the realisation he was hardly going to have to explain protection and how it was used. Henry, in the least, seemed to be decently responsible. That, he supposed, worked in the other man's favour. His violet gaze returned easily to her own then, the equine offering that comment that children was nothing to be taken on lightly. His own offspring- and now those he was raising with Nadya- having readily taught him that. Malia quick to seize onto that sheer number with the declaration he was a whore. Frost allowing that cool chuckle to rise from within his throat yet again.

"I prefer the term stud- but I think that is a story for another time."

That near teasing innuendo was offered with ease, Frost content to brush passed that very topic off his fatherhood by returning that conversation to Henry in turn. That suggestion that Malia might like to ask her friend to dinner seeming to prompt a wariness of sorts in the woman and yet he had readily suspected as much. Still, she seemed willing enough to agree, Frost entirely curious to meet this fellow she had been enjoying in her free time. The equine equally as curious of the man if only because he was Tetradore's vector in turn and one of the very beings Frost himself stood to inherit upon Tetradore's untimely demise. Those reasons he had for meeting Henry decidedly vast and yet for now he saw little need to discuss them all, merely assuring his companion he desired to work on those pack relations. Such a thing hardly a lie in any sense. Tetradore seemed to have some desire for family and a Frost was willing enough to at least assist the panther in uniting their packs. Malia afforded a curious looks at her insistence there was to be no 'funny stuff'.

"I don't know what you mean."

He offered simply, his features near expressionless as always, that voice decidedly cool and yet his lip managed to quirk all at once, perhaps giving away some hint of amusement in the concept. One hand lifted then, Frost gesturing back to the hay bales with that desire to see Malia put together those actions she had learned. Her first punch was solid, her second sending that top bale flying before she spun to finish with a solid kick that knocked that second bale down in turn. Frost inclined to admit he was almost impressed with the performance- especially for a first try. His head nodded then.

"You did well today. Practice that a few more times and no one will attack you again. Once you've mastered that we will work on a few more moves. I think that is enough for the morning, though your welcome to stay out here and keep practicing- just put the hay back behind the shed when your done. Oh, and Malia? Not a word to Nadya about the flowers, yes?"
