Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

death incarnate & night triumphant

The moment Lani left his arms he instantly felt cold. Her door snicking shut has the man sighing deeply, a hand running through his hair in frustration as the strands stick out in odd angles. It takes him a long moment to move away from the door, but when he does, Andras simply scours her apartment, snooping through her things to settle the turmoil that so occupies him in that moment. Finding the camera he had given her, he runs a finger across the hard plastic, a ghost of a smile gracing his lips as he's drawn back into his memories and their first meeting. It was quite the interesting encounter, though he wouldn't have changed it for anything. Dropping his hand to his side, he listens to Lani moving around in her room and he's entirely aware of the moment she slips between those sheets, her breathing soft. Andras struggles to not head towards her room and take her into his arms, yet he knows better. His worry of hurting her kept him from doing just that. Again, another sigh falls from his lips as he finally moves towards the futon, plopping down on it with a grunt, placing his elbows on his knees and holding his head. Did she know the things he did to him?

He stays like that for a long moment before standing and leaning the futon back into the bed, it was far too small for his large frame but he wasn't complaining, he doubted he would sleep much, if any, at all. Unbuttoning the rest of his shirt, he tosses it onto the side of the futon before reclining into the makeshift bed, an arm sliding behind his head as he stares at the ceiling. Andras simply stays like that for hours, listening to Lani toss and turn in her bed. How he wished he could soothe her, to go to her and finish what they had started. Shifting his arm, he lays it across his chest gently, turning his head towards the window, counting down the minutes until that sun would breach the horizon. Soon, the sun began to weakly filter into the apartment, Andras eyeing it jealously, wishing his life could be as simple as the rise and the setting of the sun. Letting his eyes flutter close, he allows himself to enjoy the sunlight dancing upon his skin. It isn't long before he can hear Lani stirring in her room, apparently she was an early riser as he listens to her creep from the bedroom.

Andras can hear the way she pauses at her door, as if she were worried she would wake him. Allowing his breathing to deepen, pretending to sleep, he's curious to see what she will do. It isn't long before she's silently padding across the floor. He can practically feel where her eyes trail across him. It's then when he hears her pick something up and she begins to approach him slowly, kneeling next to him. It takes every thing he has not to reach out and scoop her into his arms and yet, he waits patiently. Listening to the shutter of the camera almost has a smile touching his lips but he refrains, clearly the woman hadn't learned her lesson. Yet, he hardly moves, allowing her that photo as she seems to stare either at the camera or at him for a long time. When she moves again, he's surprised to feel her crawl up onto the futon, snuggling in close to him. Automatically he pulls her in close, feeling her head rest on his chest, he wraps his arms around her shoulders and shifts to make room for the woman. "Don't you remember what happened last time you took a photo?" He mumbles, letting his eyes slit open to peer down at the girl.

Amusement dances in those dark eyes briefly, "Good morning by the way, how did you sleep?" He asks before planting a kiss on the top of her head, breathing in her scent. As he waits for a response, he shifts to make her position more comfortable before sending her a devious glance, "If I recall correctly, the last time you saw me shirtless you practically fainted," he teases her, tightening his grip on her should so she's unable to move.
