Hawethorn Village

Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Malia couldn't be happier for Nadya's involvement with the party. She really was a godsend cause she knew how to host and cook and be polite and all that stuff that maybe Malia wasn't too good at. When the vampire ran into her, Malia had to compose herself and then he brought up Abigail and suddenly she could be his best friend. She loved the little cute bear Were! Nadya told him she was sure they could find something stronger, volunteering Malia to lead him that way to which she promptly nodded and did just that. As Nadya brought Ashton over, Malia couldn't stop smiling. It was contagious when he was around. Though she was successfully distracted when Nadya suddenly asked Abigail how long her and the vampire had been together. They were dating? Malia's eyes widened as she listened in. The vampire seemed rather socially awkward himself so maybe that all worked out okay so Malia was still working through some kinks of her own.

He seemed to like the idea of drinking something stronger than the sodas they had on the table even though she didn't get wanting to drink that stuff by itself. Frost about killed her with that shot before he left and it was nowhere near the sweet smell of those fruity drinks she liked. But to each their own, right? He seemed surprised at first when she questioned what kind of vampire he was. He said he was still kind of a vampire and used some C word she would never remember. It was a different species of vampire, apparently. Must be like how Weres turn into different animals. She shook her head with a smile when he said that he wouldn't eat anyone. "Oh, I wasn't worried about that. Just curious. There are so many supernaturals I have yet to meet." She was truly fascinated by them all and though she seemed to run into Weres pretty much everywhere, it wasn't every day that she came across a vampire or fae.

When Abigail came upon them, she could see the instant light in the guy's eyes and it made her smile brighter to see they made each other so happy. He even called Abigail babe like in the movies! She could totally eat some popcorn and watch them snuggle all night, but then she'd get bored. When Ashton came over, the vampire seemed a little confused at first before mentioning that he liked Ashton's belt. Malia hadn't really noticed beforehand that he was a little dressed up. She'd been too busy drooling over him being there in general. Finally she blinked and looked him over, wondering if that's just how he liked to dress. She wouldn't mind. Those jeans fit in all the right places.... She forced her eyes away when the vampire started speaking again, saying his name was Arlo and that Abigail had told him about the pack. He asked about Frost and Malia smirked.

"He's out of town presently." She tilted her head as he said he wasn't too sure about packs, asking if its like a a vampire coven and Malia had to glance at Nadya in question before she looked back at him with a shrug. "I don't know. What are vampires covens like?" She had nothing to go off of. Then he asked if they all turn into pandas and she laughed out loud before shaking her head. "No, we definitely don't all get to be that cute." She said with a smirk to Abigail before glancing back at him. "I'm a coyote." She didn't want to speak for Nadya in case she didn't want others to know her other form or something. It might be a manners thing or something for all she knew. Abigail had finally come to stand more beside Arlo than behind him, her eyes seemingly riveted on Ashton's hat. It was pretty cool; she had to admit. When Arlo asked about them being pandas, Abigail spoke up and said she was a wolf and Malia grinned. "If only I were that cool. A smaller version, but almost."

Abigail also apparently knew somewhat about what Nadya was cause she declared her a jaguar. She felt ten times better now that Ashton had come, at least. It was starting to get overwhelming with all the strangers she didn't know, but with his smiling face, she felt like she could face anything. As he came over, Arlo asked about his belt and Ashton had no problem telling him he won it roping cows. Roping? Malia tilted her head in curiosity. "Oh, could you teach me how to do that? Might make catching deer a little easier." She said it before she really thought about the fact a little prey animal was nearby, her gaze instantly going to Abigail before she gave a sheepish smirk. "So I can pet them, of course. They run away so fast that I can't get near them." She was sure she probably wasn't fooling anyone, but maybe they would play along so Abigail wouldn't get terrified or something.

As Ashton's shoulder brushed hers, she glanced over to return his smile, her stomach already doing flips in his presence. She could smell his cologne from here and it was simply heavenly. He introduced himself to the others, holding out his hand to shake before he let them know he wasn't in the pack, just a friend. He didn't say what he could turn into and she didn't want to divulge that if there was some reason he didn't want to say so she did good and held her tongue, only giving him secretive smirks when the others were talking.
