Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

A plethora of images assault her as she sleeps fitfully, memories flit through her mind one at a time, though she doesn't have the ability to hang on to any of them. Miya isn't entirely sure what wakes her, but she regrets the moment her eyes peel open. How terrible she felt! It felt as if someone were taking a sledgehammer and banging it inside her skull. Groaning, she brings her slender fingers to her forehead, pressing lightly as she closes her eyes once more. She lays there for a moment before allowing her eyes to part, just barely, to let the sunlight assault her. It was almost too much but she lets herself adjust slowly. Bracing herself, she sits up just as a wave of nausea hits her. A whine of pain pants through her lips as she doubles over, breathing slowly through her nostrils and out her mouth hoping to stave off the inevitable. Successful, she sits back up taking in her surroundings.

Confusion assaults her as she glances around the room. Where am I? She furrows her brows, glancing at the pristine decor surrounding her. Bits and pieces of her previous night comes rushing back to her, drinking at the bar only to meet Dareios... and somehow, they made it back to his... mansion? Realizing she was, in fact, in a man's home, she instantly turns scarlet, her head whipping from side to side as she looks for Dareios. Surely he was in the room with her! No woman ever went to a man's house and nothing happened. Standing, she sways slightly before getting her bearings as she smooths out her clothes. Her clothes? Glancing down at herself, she was indeed still dressed in the outfit she wore last night, the only difference was the material was quite rumbled and her hair, oh her poor hair, was quite tangled.

Again, confusion lingers inside her as she paces the room slowly, careful to keep her hands to herself. Folding her arms, she catches site of a bathroom and sighs a relief, how badly she needed to clean herself up a bit. Quickly rinsing her mouth out and finger combing her dark locks, she finally braves the door to exit the room. Miya lets her fingers linger on the handle of the door before taking a deep breath and opening it. It's quiet in the massive house as she pads slowly down the hallway, her chocolate eyes lingering on the wall decor before she reaches a staircase. How she doesn't remember any of this! Miya was quite certain she was never drinking again, the previous night fuzzy. The last thing she remembered was sitting on that cold cellar floor giggling about something and that was that.

She reaches the bottom of the staircase, hesitating for only a moment until she hears movement coming from her right. Making her way towards the sound, she flushes again not entirely certain what happened last night just as she enters the kitchen. "Dareios?" She calls out, standing in the doorway with her tousled hair and pink cheeks, chocolate eyes searching.
