What You'll Find Here

Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village
River Dale

Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

For Ashton, it wasn't about how well he knew someone that determined if he helped them. Nadya could be his sworn enemy and he'd still take her in and help her get on her feet. It was the right thing to do, no matter how much he knew, didn't know, liked, or disliked the person. She looked as if she was in a bad place. He needed to help her. It would not settle well on his conscious if he refused to help her and she ended up far worse than she is now. In his mind, helping her by giving her a place to stay for now far outweighed his hesitancy for living with a woman...especially one that wasn't his wife.

Finally, after deep thought, she seemed to agree to at least let him help. They walked together towards his home, mostly in silence as he led her through the streets of Sacrosanct. Her question, however, had him chuckling lightly. "No, she doesn't live with me. I live on my own." He didn't think now was the best time to tell her that while he was beginning to fall for Malia and living with her would go against how he was raised. Perhaps another time.

They turned the corner and came upon a small Target. He smiled. "We're going to stop in here for some essentials." She would need basic things like shampoo, a toothbrush, clothing, etc. He opened the door for her and grabbed a basket. "I want you to pick out some clothes while I go grabbed some basic toiletries." He nodded his head towards the clothing. "Get whatever you want." She would need some clothes. It might not be as fancy as Nordstrom's, but it would clothe her with clean and fresh clothing.

By the time he had gathered some shampoo and conditioner, body wash, hair brush, toothbrush and toothpaste, as well as some pony tails, he headed back towards her. He weaved through the housewares and grabbed a few extra pillows and blankets for him to use on his couch. Once done, he headed back to the clothing.

He found her looking through clothing and pulled the cart up so she could deposition her socks, underwear, and any other clothing she had picked up along the way. "Did you find some things you liked?" He didn't care what she wore, just as long as she had a few new outfits that she'd be comfortable in. Later they could really go shopping for interview attire and nicer clothes once she got herself settled a little.
