Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

death incarnate & night triumphant

He can feel the love pouring off the woman in that single touch alone as he rests his face in the palm of her hand. Eyes fluttering closed, he huffs a sigh of contentment before pulling back slightly and admitting his fears. The fae lord and truly expected to ruin the moment, right then and yet, understanding seems to fills Lani's eyes as he gazes down at her. When her hand touches his face again, it sends a shudder through him, at the loving touch he never expected to feel, nor something he had felt in... centuries. Her response has his dark eyes gazing down at her, filling with incredulity, she was a one in a million person, faerie, he decided as she runs her hand through his dark locks. Andras wasn't entirely sure he could forgive himself and yet, he bows his head in response, his fingers coming up to rest on her cheek, waiting to catch any tears that spill over. And it isn't as if the moment is over, it simply changes after a few heartbeats, Andras's fingers trailing to her lips, brushing them delicately before drawing his index finger up and tracing her delicately arched ear.

Her response to his words has a grin stretching across his lips as she mirrors his movements, her soft fingers trailing across his ear as waves of pleasure course through him. Blinking down at her, "I wouldn't have anything to compare it to, I've been a faerie my whole life," he murmurs even as he feels himself hardening again. No, once was not enough. He presses into her so lightly, drawing a moan out of her that runs its fingers down his back. His wide smile is met with one of her own as he pulls out of her, mentioning how very gentlemanly he was before stalking into the bathroom to retrieve that towel. Her very words has Andras glancing over his shoulder at her, eyes smoldering as he winks. Despite their one round, his control was barely existent and it took all his self control to not turn back around and pounce on her. He is quick in his return as he drags the warm cloth across her skin, drawing small sounds from her. He hardly lingers long, quite sure he would never make it downstairs if he stayed at that bed any longer.

Her light giggle that falls from her lips has Andras flashing her a wicked smile, before pushing himself off the bed and turning towards the dresser. He quickly pulls on the same pair of sweats he had worn earlier that week, only for Lani's voice to catch his attention. He glances over his shoulder at her, a playful scowl lining his features as he dead pans, "I'm going to shred that shirt," he says as he stalks out of the bedroom, her words about wearing those sweats by the end of the weekend chasing him down the stairs. He's quick and precise in the kitchen, chopping up veggies and pulling out a big pan as he listens to Lani's movements from upstairs. She hardly takes long, her soft footsteps on the stairs only a moment later before she appears in the kitchen behind him. He's still chopping up the vegetables and doesn't turn towards her, though he's entirely aware of her presence, as if he could not know where she was at any given time. She was an extension of him now. And as she crosses the kitchen to stand next to him, leaning over the counter, Andras pauses his chopping to turn towards her. His white shirt barely covering her, her pale legs on full display as she smiles up at him impishly. His dark eyes watch her intently, male satisfaction coursing through him at seeing her wearing his clothes.

He doesn't have enough time to respond before Lani quips at him and he can't help but allow a choked laugh to crawl out of his throat. "The blushing maiden is dead and reborn is a monster I've created," he dead pans again, before letting out a dark and sensual laugh. "Stir fry, to answer your question, I am far too impatient to cook something that would take longer," he says before stepping closer to her, bumping her with his hip, "You, my dear, are a distraction," he says down at her, "Go sit at the bar so I can finish this without bending you over the counter and finishing what we started upstairs," he purrs, those shadows which had been so absent, coming to life as those tendrils reach for Lani, gently brushing across her bare legs. He waits for her to obey, before reining in those shadows and dispersing them, he had never used his powers for pleasure and yet, his mind swirled with the opportunity to do just that. Those very powers designed for destruction and violence and yet... the ideas he had in that moment. It distracted him briefly before turning back to the chopping board and finishing with the veggies quickly.

Moving to the fridge, he pulls out a container of noodles, Andras efficient in his movements as he heats the pan and dumps the vegetables into the pan, the sizzling sound breaking the silence. "Is your father going to murder me when they come back to town?" He asks suddenly, his words playful, "He was not very happy the first time he met me and surely after all these years, he would like nothing more than to have it out," Andras says over his shoulder as he dumps the rest of the contents into the pan, adding spices and sauce, the aroma dangling in the air. It takes him only a few minutes longer before he is digging bowls out of the cabinet and scooping the contents into each of the dishes, Andras turning on a heel and setting one bowl before Lani before setting his own down on the bar, across from her. He stands in the kitchen, the bar a separation between them, "Ida is much better at this than I am, I learned a few things from her, mostly when I was a child and would get sent to the kitchens to work as punishment," he winks at her before turning back around and digging through another cabinet and retrieving two champagne glasses.

He crosses the kitchen and pulls the fridge door open, only to grab a sparkling wine. He's quick to open it and serve the two glasses, passing one to Lani. After she takes it, he clinks his glass to hers, "Cheers to us," he says before taking a sip. "Forgive me, but I'm going to stand on this side of the bar while you eat, I don't think you can keep your hands to yourself," he flashes a wicked smile, eyes alight with teasing.
