South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

The University of Sacrosanct offers some of the top programs in the nation with its outstanding campus and specialized faculty. Was it odd that she enjoyed picking at a carcass over going to a five star restaraunt? Everyone she has told thought so but she is unashamed, in fact she pities them for their closed mindedness. Miss Grymm saw the beauty in all things for all things had purpose. She enjoyed the smell of a skunk as much as she did a rose. Found the macabre majesty in tragic death. She saw the allure in pain.

She was a twisted little voodoo doll and loved every moment of it.

She was born of Death and of Earth, she is a figment of this world in the extreme. She is power that haunts this land in a physical manifestation that is hauntingly beautiful. The face of death and decay portrayed in all of it's glory through the cherub face of a girl. One that wanders the forest with bare feet and simple white summer dress. Crystalline eyes wander just as she does; witnessing the world come alive as Spring takes over.

She smiles sweetly, reaching up to touch a bright pink cherry blossom with her finger. Immediately it begins to wilt, turn brown and fall to the ground at her pale feet. She takes a deep breath through her nose and exhales through her breath with a soft simper before she continues. Her stomach was empty and it continued to remind her. She moves silently through the underbrush in search of her next meal; only for the tinge of fresh blood to hit her keen senses.

Immediately her body begins to shrink and distort, grow feathers and lastly wings and beak. And just as alabaster as she was in human form, she was in her crow form. White with red eyes and yellow beak. She caws before spreading her wings and taking flight. Gliding, weaving through the trees she seeks the source of the scent that has all of her senses and hunger running wild. It does not take long before she catches sight of a gallant beast bathing himself, laying out leisurely in the sun.

A few yards from him was his kill, a young doe that promised soft meat and even more tender innards. Circling above, her shadow casts across him before she finally lands upon the doe's leg. She peers back at the feline but saws nothing. She merely turns to her meal and begins to tear at the scraps and pick at the bones. She ate until she had her fill before she hops, turning around to face the lion. Cocking her head, she eyes him for some time. "I always heard that it was the "King of the Jungle" but this is far from it." Her voice was reminiscent of a little girl's, melodic - like bells in an alleyway as it echoed through his mind. Her giggle was sweet and innocent as she appeared in her other form. "What does that make you? King Nothing?"

She was teasing but how do you see that in the dead eyes of a crow?
