South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

death incarnate & night triumphant

How bizarre his morning had become! He had intended to fly for the evening, enjoy his morning and return home to begin forming his court, yet his woman had entirely sauntered her way into his life and demanded he do as she directed. Andras would play along for now, he was rather entertained with the turn of events. Prowling towards her, closing that gap and allowing that dangerous smile to adorn his features, he's pleasantly surprise to find that she didn't back away from him. Instead, he noted the way she fearlessly met his gaze with her own, not bothering to take a step away from his intrusion. His grin only widens at her as those midnight eyes travel her features until his gaze reached the leather jacket she now wore slung across her shoulders, the material practically engulfing her.

Her whispered words have him fighting to cover up the surprise that so threatened to break across his features but he steps away quickly from her. A half simper plays on his lips as he shoves his hands into his pockets casually, "Sorry, love, the wings are off limits," he says nonchalantly offering her a wink, "They're far too sensitive," he gives a shrug as if that explained why he wouldn't let her touch them. He didn't lie, they were sensitive, those wings were perhaps the most sensitive part of his body. He didn't care for those wings of his to be touched by anyone. He had learned at a young age to protect those appendages and he knew somewhere deep down that if they were to be damaged beyond repair, he wouldn't be able to survive without flight in his life. So, perhaps Andras was a bit rude yet he had offered the woman a half truth.

Giving a wicked grin at her huff, he follows her as if he were no more than a dog leashed to his master, through the forest, careful to avoid those low hanging branches. Folding his wings tightly around himself, he pauses behind her as she does, perhaps a bit of surprise flitting across her features as he gives her a small shrug. She had indeed been the one who had assumed he was a demon summoned by her to help her. Andras had merely played along, mostly out of curiosity, though the Fae male wouldn't admit it. Letting those wings sink back into his flesh, he gives a small roll of his neck, adjusting to the loss of his wings, as he always had when he allowed them to disappear, regarding the witch openly as he notes the way she pieces together what had happened.

Smart girl.

Her next words cause his brows to shoot up in astonishment, the only surprise he would show, and a dark chuckle escapes his lips, shaking his head at the woman, "You truly see the dead then?" he asks, the wheels turning in his head. Perhaps he could use the witch to his advantage, to have her find his lost court so he could find out who ordered the massacre while he was away. It had happened hundreds of years ago and Andras still did not have an inkling of what had happened. Even when he was in hiding, he searched and tortured and killed his way across the world to find answers and still, the male remained in the dark. A bit of darkness slithers through his eyes momentarily before he shoves the memories away abruptly, that lazy grin dancing across his lips once more.

"If you need help, I'd be happy to oblige, on one condition," he pauses, glancing at the woman, "You help me find something," he purrs at her, taking a hand form his pocket and offering it to her, curious to see if she would make the deal. "The dead won't scare me away, I can promise you thought," his eyes gleam wickedly, tilting his head slightly. He only looks away from her when she glances across the meadow to the small cabin across the way. Furrowing his brows briefly, he inspects the deserted cabin in the distance, barely noting the flick of Sera's wrist before the ghost child was suddenly presented to him.

It was odd, seeing an apparition. It was of this world yet at the same time it wasn't. His face is a mask of indifference as he watches the reunion of the little girl and her parents. To be subjected to this sort of... job would be exhausting. Her voice causes Andras to glance back at her, noting her softened features at the little girl and her family. Not deigning to say anything, he turns towards Sera as she begins to slip the coat off, quickly his large, warm hand is on her shoulder, halting her movements. "Keep it, it's cold and it's a long walk back," he states, taking his hand from her shoulder only once she stopped removing the coat, a cool smile dancing on his lips, "Honestly, I didn't mind. I found it rather entertaining, the most fun I've had since I've been here. Who knew so many supernatural creatures existed within Sacrosanct."

Again, Andras is chuckling, stepping away from her heading back in the direction they had come. Pausing, he looks over his shoulder giving her a wry look, "Well, come along. We have a hole to patch up, don't we?"
