South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

a man who does not fear death only dies once

South

The death-bird tips her head to and fro as she watches the solemn savage indulge in these moments. As his large tongue glides across his dark hide and cleanses it of all evidence. It was power in it's idle stage that provokes the most fear, always picturing the worst. And my, my what this beast could do. The prospect enticed her, excited her; especially as his massive jaw hung open and the life of his prey dripped heavily from his jowls. Oh how she wished to grin, give him some sort of clue to what he already knew. Perhaps an inkling of how much it thrilled her to be so close to herself; to the beautiful tragedy that only brought upon more understanding and potential.

A paw that dwarfs her whole aves form threatens to cripple her before gripping the carcass so that he may drag it nearer to him. She flutters her ivory wings to remain perched upon the bending appendage, eyeing his talons that extend from their fleshy sheaths. They pierce skin without effort and jealousy bubbles in her tiny chest - as his low growling warn reverberates through every fiber of her fragile being. A representation of death is a creature that causes it not feeds from it. But alas, she was cursed to be nothing more than a messenger. Her story of the black pitch flames of Hell, how they are real and that they await all those that doubt it.

She tastes his kill, tearing at the mangled muscle - taking advantage of a serving that he would surely leave behind. And with a few swallows and a minute stomach, her curiosity leads her to tease. His disinterest was all too apparent in his eyes but there was a reason why he hadn't attempted to take her life. He swipes that gigantic paw at her, causing her jump and launch herself upward and out of the way with her wings. She giggles as she hovers to a landing upon the deer once more, on the prominence of her hip. "That was rude." her tiny voice chimes. Her pale head then cocks as she listens to his booming voice, one so powerful that it felt as though it were rattling her brain.

She says nothing as she begins to examine the muscular slopes of the feline's power-house body. And then the glamorizing rays of a full moon as it causes that grungy-hued coat to shine. She was overwhelmed with the urge and wanted nothing more than to pet it, feel this killing-machine's fur between her nimble little fingers. She had forgotten he was speaking until his inquiry seized her full attention. Her beady eyes find his before responding. "I am pure life and death. There is no good, there is no bad. It just is. No regets." Of course there was evil but she has found the "conscious" always got in the way.

Leaping from the corpse, the little bird begins to grow and distort until she took shape of an albino woman that appeared to be in her early twenties - naked and shameless. Her tiny form had proportional curves and attributes; almost girlish. She boldly steps forward and seats herself between the lion's legs with her knees bent. She begins to stroke down the length of his stomach. "Now tell me beastie, what is the glory of your reign when there is no one to share it with?"
