South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

South

The young witch rarely admitted to others of what she was truly capable of. At least, not any more. During those first few days she'd thought the explanation was better than those odd looks she would sometimes receive when she spoke to thin air and yet, a large number of those people merely regarded her with a look of nearly endearing doubt. They thought she was 'crazy' or one of those charletons that simply claimed to see the dead in order to help someone simply move on. The truth, however, was far from it. She was not the type of soul to lie just to placate someone. Those dead deserved rest just as much as the living desired their pretty little lies. She had, however, been so particularly abnormally upfront with the man who now stood at her side simply from this misconceived notions that he was hardly of this world either. After all, if she could see ghosts, why not demons? The world seemed convinced she dealt with them as it was - being a member of Satan's court, or something equally as ridiculous. Her head bobbed ever so slightly in the wake of that question and yet, the young woman could tell he clearly had some thoughts on the topic, even if he chose not to speak of them.

Rather, Serafina was content to relay her woes to him at so getting her roof fixed and the ghosts that seemed to be continually haunting her house of late. It seemed the longer she stayed anywhere, the more inclined those transparent bodies were to congregate. She hardly expected the man at her side to suddenly offer his own services on fixing that roof and yet, the young woman was terribly suspicious of this sudden look that crossed his gaze. "Find something?" She inquired, not wholly inclined to place her hand within his just yet. "I prefer to know everything I'm agreeing to beforehand." Serafina's voice was wholly firm as she left him hanging, her attention instead shifting back towards that young ghost child that so suddenly ran ahead of them. She offered the man little more then a snort as his certainty that those ghosts that so haunted her wouldn't scare him. How little he knew of the things that walked unseen amongst them - of the horrors some had been afflicted with. Even those transparent beings could so unsettle her, a small shiver running down her spine as she even considered it and yet, she supposed at least someone had been given a happy ending for the evening.

It was in the aftermath of that little family reunion that Serafina turned towards the man, making a move to shrug that coat off her shoulders only to have that action stopped by that hand that suddenly rested upon her shoulder and that leather fabric. Her eyebrows rose ever so slightly in surprise, hardly expecting this sudden shift of chivalry from the fae. Clearly he must really want whatever it was he so anticipated her to help him find if he was not only going to allow her to continue wearing that coat but also not to take offense at her mistake and insist upon fixing that hole that had so thwarted her of late. "I suppose....though you never did tell me what it is you want me to find. I don't want to promise you something I can't deliver." She insisted, turning from that cabin in the distance to so lead the way back to her townhome. After all, they could iron out the specifics on the walk and, she was fairly certain at least, both had to go that way anyways. Surely he did not live in the forest any more than she did.
