South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

death incarnate & night triumphant

Andras could feel those blue eyes tracing his wings as if they were a tangible thing and even when he taunts her into giving him an answer as to what he is, he can't help but shift those appendages under her piercing gaze. The Fae didn't particularly feel uncomfortable under that stare but he had never seen someone to inspect him so openly before that didn't result in a brawl. The girl truly did not fear him. That was a first. As her words caress those pointed ears, that lazy smile returns to his lips, hiding the surprise that so threatened to erupt onto his features.

Tilting his head, he regards her openly as she finishes speaking. "You are correct." He drawls, that simper entirely remaining on his face. "The books you speak of are tales we offered humans long ago and as you can see they stuck," he shrugs casually as if it didn't matter to him. Still, Andras thinks back on all those nights around the fire when he was young, much younger than he was now, as his court met with tribes of humans trading tales until the early mornings. "My court preferred the term 'Fae' only because of the region we hailed from, though most of my race in Sacrosanct go by the term 'faeries'. Call us what you wish, it matters little to us," he says languidly before retrieving his jacket.

Andras hadn't intended to share that much with the strange human, though her boldness is what caused him to tell her a bit more about their race.

As he continues to antagonize her, he's delighted to see a spark of anger rising in the depths of those blue irises. He's a bit disappointed she didn't rise to his challenge in the moment only because he was having far too much fun taunting her. And when she snaps under her breath at him, he chortles darkly at her, "Ah, but if I had done that you would have been... inclined to hold onto those photos," he didn't know, perhaps she would have erased them and they never would have seen the light of day, but he couldn't chance it, nor did he know how that metal device in her hand actually worked.

"I know there are ways to retrieve a lost photo off of cameras," he shrugs nonchalantly, "It was easier to destroy it than chance it. I can assure you, like I said before, I've saved you the trouble of getting rid of that ridiculous device. That can get you into quite a bit of misfortune if you aren't careful" he sniffs at her before he begins leading the way out of the forest after he allows his wings to sink into his back. Andras wasn't entirely sure she would follow him but when she speeds to catch up to him, a flicker of a smile dances on the corner of his lips.

Lani.

Her name clanged through his body as he nearly falters in his steps. It was such an absurd feeling that it takes almost everything he must shove down the surprise that threatens to break out onto his features. Blinking slowly to regain his calm persona, he lets his hazel eyes travel to her features, noting she kept pace with him at his side. "You are truly a bold little thing at you?" he muses in that midnight voice of his. Simpering at her he gives a small shrug of his shoulders, it wouldn't matter if she knew his name or not, "Andras. It's a pleasure to meet you, Lani," he purrs her name darkly back to her, enjoying the shape of her name on his tongue.

"Why are you still holding onto that thing?" He asks casually, his eyes scanning the brightening forest for any hidden figures. "It's useless now."
