South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

death incarnate & night triumphant

The blissful silence only lasted several long minutes. It's the sound of a musical voice accompanied by the screeching of a bird that draws his attention. Though, he remains seated, he's arms relaxed at his side, eyes closed as if he didn't have a care in the world. Feigning sleep. Perhaps the odd couple would continue on their way and ignore the man entirely sprawled it beneath the tree. Yet, the sound of the woman's voice grows closer and he realizes she's speaking with the bird. With his eyes closed, he's unable to see the black raven hop after the woman. Andras is so focused on the conversation of the bird and the woman, because they were having a conversation, that he doesn't notice how bey close she is. So close, in fact, he feels the impact of her foot against his leg that has his eyes flying open, dark hazel eyes finding the woman sprawled on the ground next to him. Brows arched, he's unable to say anything before the raven has launched itself into the sky, screeching at the Fae. Andras could only imagine at just what the animal was saying to him.

Taking the moment to gather himself and making sure the bird wouldn't dive and peck out his eyes, the Fae turns to look at the woman, he's eyes instantly focusing on this delicately pointed ears. Another faerie. Eyes widening in surprise, he quickly covers that astonishment with a mask of cool and calm, a small but wicked smile adorning his lips. Pushing himself to a standing position, he wipes his pants off before extending a hand to help the faerie woman up. Andras watches her closely, inspecting the woman carefully as if he were looking for wounds upon her. "I'm quite alright, my dear. No damage done," his deep baritones are rough from the lack of use. Once the woman stands, he puts his hand in his pocket casually. He's about to comment on the twigs in her hair when the strange woman's attention travels to the raven. The scolding that leaves her lips has Andras's brows arching in amusement. For now, he lets it pass, he was far more curious of the faerie woman before him than the screeching animal.

"Are you hurt?" He parrots her question, his slender fingers reaching down to pick the twigs from her hair gently. Once he finishes, he offers her an apologetic smile, "Apologies, you had twigs in your hair," he states, showing her the last twig he removed from her long strands. Allowing his other hand to slide into his pocket, his eyes dart over to the still screeching animal, his amusement coloring his next words, "A friend of yours I presume?" He asks, just as those dark hazel eyes turn back to the woman, "Though, I'm rather curious, what did the bird say about me?" He purrs darkly, curiosity dancing in his eyes, attempting to ignore the caws of the raven. He's only partially successful but he's able to converse with the faerie woman, though his voice is raised only slightly to be heard over the racket.

"There are very few faeries left in the world, and even fewer in Sacrosanct. I'm pleased to have run into another of our race," he smiles at her rather gently, "I'm Andras," he states, removing hand from his pocket to extend it towards her. How odd for him to run into two different faeries in the span of a week. Both meetings by chance though he was pleased to grow his court by one when Navi accepted his invitation, albeit, with her own terms and conditions. He didn't mind, not really. She was one more faerie under his protection and he was determined to save their dwindling race. Andras would not fail his court this time around. He's drawn back to the present once more by a rather loud screech from the raven this time. His hazel eyes drift towards the bird still looking rather aggressive. "And what is your companion's name if I might ask?" He questions, not entirely sure if he should be attempting to converse with a wild animal. Andras was convinced he had managed to offend a bird. How, he wasn't sure but either way, he found the whole ordeal... entertaining.
