South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

TRYING NOT TO WASTE MY TIME

To say Benjamin's new puppy was spoiled would be an understatement. Now, Benjamin had little money, surviving off of his scholarship money and student loans, with an occasional check sent from Caroline (that he always tried to give back to her, only to be met with a threat she would make him eat it if he didn't cash it.) And now what little money he had, he was spending on little Des. Whether it was her food, which would only increase as she grew, her collar, her leash, he even got her a fluffy, tiny bed for her to sleep on. Though, as it would go, Des hardly ever slept in it, instead she would typically sleep in his arms along with him in his bed, of course Benjamin wasn't complaining about that, waking up to puppy kisses on his nose was not the worst thing that could happen to him, not by a long shot.

The little Australian shepard mix comes running back, little stub tail wagging with the ferocity that could start a hurricane. Reluctant to drop the ball at first, Benjamin stoops down and reaches towards her closed mouth and just as he is about to grab it out of her mouth, that is when she then decides to drop it. "Good girl," he says scratching her behind her ears, but at the moment, she didn't seem that interested in being pet, instead brown eyes amidst her red face are focused solely on the pink ball that now rests in Benjamin's hand. Arm reaches back once more as he launches it forward with all his might, he had to tire this wild puppy out some how and playing ball had been the best option thus far. He is unaware though the the girl with blonde locks that watches as his puppy races after the object of her desire. Benjamin's amber eyes drift away from his crimson splashed puppy, eyes simply roving over the park for a moment before turning back to see his young dog racing back towards him.

That is when he sees that it is no longer just the boy and his dog, but another has joined.

A pretty girl with blonde hair appears in the path as Des comes running over to Benjamin. Te boy with dark brown hair and roaring amber eyes as fierce as a fire storm, stoops down to pick up the puppy, knowing full well that would instantly start jumping on the girl out of sheer excitement as seeing a new, friendly face. She offers him a smile when she approaches and his cheeks merely twitch in response. It wasn't that he was grumpy, Benjamin just had never really been the type to smile...hardly ever.

"Umm thanks," he says in response, as his eyes peer down at the pup, who, sensing her owner's eyes upon him turns her tiny face and begins to lick his own face in response. Benjamin closes his eye on the side she was licking, to prevent any puppy spit from going into it. Benji pushes her nose away gently. "Her name is Des, short for Desdemona," he states, giving her scratch behind the ear. "Oh, and I'm Benjamin," he says, remembering his manners, though he often times would forget about formalities. He shifts the weight of the puppy in his arms so that he is able to extend his hand, wondering briefly if she would respond the same way Malia had to a handshake, but the thought is shaken from his mind, considering meeting someone like Malia was few and far between. "Sorry if Des scared you or anything, the park is usually the only place we can play fetch without someone yelling at me to put a leash on her," he says, resisting the urge to roll his eyes before looking to the girl once more. The young man scratches the puppy behind her ears, always it seemed he was unable to go long without showing her some sort of affection. He looks once more to the girl, lip twitching again, giving away his contentedness of the day and the company. "Hope you don't mind our interruption."
