South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

death incarnate & night triumphant

Andras was hardly concern by the rolling of her eyes, and the rhetorical question that so drips from her lips. He merely offers her a shrug, grinning at her all the same. He hadn't truly thought she would make a deal with him but he was pleased, nonetheless, perhaps it would put him one step closer in finding who was behind the slaughter of his court. It was then that he inquires about her home, the witch merely gesturing to the run-down townhouse in front of them. Andras raises his brows but doesn't say anything, dutifully following her up those steps and entering the house behind her, the door clicking shut quietly. He takes a moment to allow those hazel eyes to scan the room, following her hand as she points to the corner, explaining it was her tutor who sat there.

He had seen many things in his life and he had learned to never take them for granted. The only reason why he didn't immediately backtrack out of that home was simply because Serafina had showed him the child that was searching for the family. Though, he imagined many thought she was... different. It hardly mattered, they lived in a city where being different was the norm. Andras is silent as he follows her up those creaking stairs, well-worn with age. It was clear this home was rather old, well-used, perhaps passed down given that she had mentioned her teacher had spelled a room in this very house. When the reach the next landing, he rounds the corner, following Sera towards the room where the leak was, pausing just at the doorframe as his eyes inspect the invisible barrier.

Sighing, he can feel the crackling of magic there, his hair practically standing on end as he reaches up to brush the barrier briefly, only to draw his hand back as an audible zapping sound fills the air. As he simply tells her he is unable to enter the room, he offers her a small shrug, watching the way she reaches her fingers up to rub at her head, as if she couldn't handle the information he so provided her. As he requests their deal to be altered slightly, he's pleased to see that she accepts it without complaint, the man taking a step back so not to accidentally fall into that barrier. He wasn't entirely sure what would happen, he merely knew it would not feel good.

Again, he takes another step back as Sera exits the room, leading him up yet another flight of stairs. His eyes dart around the room, glancing at the windows and the chairs that litter the floor. It was probably a beautiful part of the house during those early mornings, he wouldn't mind spending time on this landing, it was so open. It reminded him home, except without the bustling of cars in the distance. He notes the lack of use of the room, dust clinging to almost every item within but he doesn't comment on it, his eyes merely traveling back to Sera as she explains she hardly uses the room. As she opens the door for him, he passes her and into the crisp night, glancing towards the roof, gauging the distance to where the leak might be. "I think that room is my favorite part of your house so far," he states casually, before turning to inspect the space around them. "Keep a look out, will you?" he asks without explanation before those wings silently stretch from his back once more.

Flaring them to stretch, he heads towards the shingles, planting a foot to test his balance, he unfolds his wings halfway to help him keep him from falling. Carefully, he makes his way across the roof, dark eyes scanning for the sign of wear and tear. It doesn't take him long to find it, a shingle off centered to reveal a shallow hole. Bending down, he flares his wings a little wider as he inspects it carefully, noting several twigs sticking out. Frowning, he reaches his hand in to pull a nest from the hole, carefully raising it above his head. "I think someone made a home in your roof," he calls, showing her the tiny bird's nest. He hardly felt guilty as he chucked the nest away, the birds had already flown south for the winter. It doesn't take him long to rearrange the shingle, make sure that there was no gap to allow water to leak through. Standing, he casually strolls back to Sera, his feet finally finding flat ground before his wings sink back into his back.

"That should fix it for now," he tells her, "I don't expect the problem to be fixed for long term but it'll do for now," he shrugs casually. "I suppose I'll be on my way for now, if it starts leaking again let me know, I'll bring tools to properly repair it next time," he dips his head casually before heading back into that room, pausing to glance over his shoulder once, "It was a pleasure to meet you, Sera," he calls to her before disappearing from sight and out of her home.
