South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

The University of Sacrosanct offers some of the top programs in the nation with its outstanding campus and specialized faculty. The University places a high focus both upon educating future generations but also on research to help revolutionize the world. The University welcomes the talent of students across the world to enroll and unlock their unlimited potential. With applications from across the nation, classes fill up quickly.

South

It was a full moon tonight and she could feel her pulse racing in her veins as she grabbed some clothes in a backpack and raced out the door. She'd left a note for Frost and Nadya on the fridge to let them know where she'd gone, though she was sure at some point during the night, she'd run into them one way or another. All the Were's seemed to come out on a full moon night, after all. She was still so overwhelmed with thoughts and the shift and letting herself be feral for a night could only be good for her. No thinking about non existant pack battles and being used. No thinking about Nadya's children and how Micah might already be in over his head. No thinking about breaking Frost's mom out of captivity. No thinking about hunting down that Hunter who shot her with an arrow, at least not yet. Now that she knew there was a chance it was a supernatural Hunter that had shot her, she was more curious than ever to know what they were planning. Why keep her alive and tie her up? Where were they going to take her in that van? Had they done the same to other Were's? The thought made her angry so she brushed it aside.

She made it to the forest and found a place to stash the backpack for later before she shimmied out of her clothes and gave into the change, only grimacing now as she crouched down and felt her bones shifting and changing until a coyote stood where a human once had. Shaking out her coat, she let out a sigh of relief before throwing her head back, letting a howl go into the air, the announcement to other Were's that she was out here. Then she took off into the woods, easily making her way through the familiar terrain. She wasn't afraid of running into Ceasar or the rest of the coyote pack tonight. She hadn't smelled or seen anything since that night he'd called her a traitor. She had to figure they had moved on, probably cause he didn't want to run into her again. Or because the pack was falling apart and they had to scatter to other territories to find a place to lie low. She shook her head at the thought of them going back to the way things were. Back to scavenging and picking off carcasses for their food. Back to petty squabbles and dying of starvation. Whether he wanted to admit it or not, she had given strength to that pack and they would never find that in another coyote. She was definitely one of a kind.

She wasn't planning on running into any other Were's any time soon. If they heard her coming, they would probably move to avoid her unless they wanted company. The more she thought about it, the more she figured she probably didn't even know half of the Were's in Sacrosanct. She knew Tetradore and she'd met that Wolf a long time ago. It felt like forever again, anyway. Back when she was in denial about what she was. But now she was part of a pack and creating friendships with those both within and out of the pack. She was friends with Tetradore and Henry. She was friends with Nadya. She knew Frost had her back. There were even other members of his pack she had yet to meet but they hadn't made an effort so why should she? Ok that was a lie. She wanted to know everyone that lived under that roof but she didn't want to have to stalk them to find out about them. She brought her head back to the present, where she'd picked up on a trail left from a wandering buck. Young, probably either looking for a herd of other bucks to run with till he got his own herd of does or following a doe in season. He would do. She licked her lips and followed the trail.
