South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Arya had always loved kids. If she hadn't work with animals there was a high likelihood she may have ended up working with kids. Her power was certainly helpful when interacting with them, their emotions tended to wild and magnified so she was sure parents wished they could have her empathy in order to calm a fussy baby or calm a hormonal preteen. Of course they were a lot more complicated than her seals and sea lions, making it one of the reasons she had no plans for children of her own anytime soon; it was easy to train a seal, but it was hard to raise a child. She commended women like Nadya.

The brunette woman could easily tell that the two twins were polar opposites, while Izzy marched right alongside her with pure delight and excitement, Micah remained quiet in his mother's arms. She made sure to make sure she wasn't scaring him, after all she was a stranger and it was logical he would be so shy and apprehensive. She smiled as Izzy replied with her favorite animal, the comical penguin which seemed to fit her personality, though she doubted they were actually were penguins. She laughed lighting at the girls attempt to replicate the flightless birds signature walk. "I like penguins too, my favorite is the macaroni penguin which has a super silly name. It has fluffy feathers on its head that are colored yellow like macaroni and cheese!" she replied, using her hands to try and replicate the feathers on the side of its head and be as comical as possible to get the young girl to laugh and perhaps make them her favorite as well. Of course that's not actually why they were called macaroni penguins but Izzy and Micah were too young to actually understand the real explanation behind their name.

Amber eyes turned back to Nadya who explained her residence in the city. It seemed Arya was truly out of the loop about the werecommunity in Sacrosanct if she had lived here for several years and even had her children without the seal once having even bumped into her at a store of something. "I've been here for several years myself, moved from a coastal town several hours away for school and stayed for work," she explained as they wandered into the aquarium and to the tide pool area. She laughed lightly at the mother's assurance that the twins kept her on her toes, she could only imagine how that to be true, especially in a situation where Micah was more comfortable and lively alongside his sister. She knew better than to ask if the father was involved to help in rearing the two little were's, it was often a touchy subject and incredibly personal for someone she just met not even a half an hour before this.

The seal was in her element teaching and demonstrating for the small family. Arya loved watching others, especially young ones, connect with animals in an enjoyable way. Amber eyes watched with amusement as Izzy reached in to mimic Arya's demonstration on how to gently touch a sea urchin, squealing at the cold temperature that embraced her hand when she reached in. The brunette woman laughed lightly, "It is very very cold." The seal of course was accustomed to the cold, especially the grasp of cold water on her skin, but she knew others were definitely not as adapted to it as her and always were quite shocked by how cold the water really was to keep the tide pool animals happy. She watched in delight as even Micah, with a little help from his mom reached in to try out a sea urchin hug as well. "Sea urchins aren't the only animals in here that like to give hugs," she grinned, leaning to reach to a deeper part to scoop a sea star up for the twins. She placed the starfish on top of her hand, balling it into a fist and holding it over under the water to show the twins as the strange little animal slowly wrapped its limbs around her closed hand like it was giving a hug. "Would you two like to try?" She inquired to the twins, knowing her answer was primarily going to come from the lively girl.

Arya perked up as Nadya quietly inquired about the creature that made her her. There were no prying ears close enough to be a bother, and it wasn't a matter that was needed to be kept personal to the young woman. "No worries, I understand where you're coming from, it's nice to run into other Weres. I myself am a WereSeal, I know ironic for where I work and what I do," She laughed, knowing that others always found amusement when they learned of her identity and her occupation. It also was not unusual that she couldn't place her animal. Most Were's had better sense of smell than Arya but seals didn't exactly carry with them a very familiar and distinguishable scent, other than perhaps fish. "If you don't mind me asking as well, what about you?" She inquired curiously.

Well darling, let's hurt tonight
