South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Eyes remain frozen on the water spout spiraling towards her, wondering if this was going to be how she ended. Was she going to survive this terrible weather of her own making? She just wished she knew how to make it stop, to send the storm away. But she had no idea. Instead of fostering her powers and teaching her how to control them, her parents had just tried to beat the magic out of her. She tried to suppress it, tried so desperately to never let it show. Unfortunately, now when it did finally make its appearance, it was disastrous. There was no controlling it. Her powers had outgrown her ability to control it.

Out of nowhere, she hears the voice of a man. At first, she thinks it's the man trying to do her harm, the very same man that she's running from. But as he grips her wrist and practically drags her down the beach, she can see that it is not the same man. But that initial fear, that fear that she would meet her end at the hand of another, was not lost on her body. Her adrenaline pumped harder, fueling the tornado as it turns and barrels towards her with alarming speed as it grows in diameter and force.

However, she has no choice, but to run with him. She cannot get her wrist free. So she tries to keep up with him as he drags her towards a cave. No! Not a cave! This was what happened to Alex. They ran for shelter in the abandoned building and the tornado had demolished it. What if the tornado took down the cave? What if the rocks killed this man too? She would never be able to forgive herself for the death of him as well.

She tried to protest, but her lips didn't seem to be speaking the way her brain was demanding them. As they made it to the entrance of the cave, he wrapped his arms around her, shielding her from tornado's rage. However, after the inappropriate touching she just had to endure, she fought within his arms, trying desperately to get out of his grasp. It's during this time she doesn't even notice that the storm has passed, that she is no longer in control. She feels the power leave her, but she is too frightened to do anything about it.

When he speaks again, asking if she was alright, she realizes that she is still within his grasp. She frees her dominant arm and swings at his jaw, hoping to land him square. She feels the fist connect with bone, though she makes no indication that the punch has hurt her knuckles as well. "Let me go!" She continues to fight to free herself until he finally releases his hold on her. She stumbles back, unfortunately only to land at the back of the cave. He was between her and her exit.

Hands pat down her small sundress, making sure that at least she was still clothed. She hadn't expected to be on the beach today. In fact, she had only planned for an innocent stroll on the boardwalk. Emmy was homeless, she had no money. She simple enjoyed watching through the windows of the shops, imaging what her life might be like if she wasn't homeless.

Eyes flutter back to him, thankful that her outfit appears to be intact. She cannot afford to lose another dress. "I was perfectly fine on my own." Her voice is deep with annoyance, not the genuine happiness that it normally displays. Emmy is normally a very happy person, but the events of today were stressful and stress was never flattering on anyone.
