South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

we built this city on broken glass

"Well what time are they coming? That's not for another few hours, I'm here now. No, it's fine. I will make do. It needs to be before six though. I have things to do."

That phone was hung up and slipped into his jeans pocket with ease. Frost sighing softly as he leant back against that park bench, one leg folding over the other, the Icelandic man closing his eyes against the glare of the sun even if only for a few seconds. Frost relishing in that warmth in that truly rare moment of relaxation. One hand lifted to run through those snowy locks before letting them fall back over his strange, violet eyes. He was reluctant to review those new horses the Facility claimed had passed elementary training and were more than willing to be assessed for suitability for full time work. Frost holding little faith in what that training center deemed 'trained' by any standard. The equine equally as reluctant to put forward any fellow war horse to Alexander for review that he deemed sub-par himself. How very....busy he had become of late. Still, there were at least a few until he was due to meet those recruits. Perhaps, for once, he might attempt to do as other people did and enjoy the day. Foreign though that concept had proven to be until now. Frost entirely assured it would take no more than a half hour or so for him to become bored. The equine the very sort of man who enjoyed being busy in every sense if only because his mind seemed to thrive on those challenges. His equine form equally as prone to desire that task to do and yet, surely, for one day he could attempt to enjoy the sun?

His gaze flickered briefly away from the sky to linger on that overly green grass at his feet, that decidedly equine part of himself readily contemplating just how that might taste and yet his far more domineering side was equally quick to regain control and cast such an idle thought aside. He would not have it said the the Leader In The South had been caught eating half the park. Maybe he would come back later tonight after Alexander and himself had finished training for the evening and contemplate the grass then. Frost, for now, refusing to give in to that more animalistic side. The stallion relishing that control he commanded over both his own forms. His attention shifted once more to several families passing by, his lip curling in slight disdain at one Mother so engaged in her phone conversation she hardly seemed to notice one off her children was mere seconds away from grasping a rose bush. It would hardly hurt the child, at least not permanently and yet Frost found such absence of mind near intriguing to behold. What a bizzare species humans were in every sense of the word.

Frost pushed himself easily upward from that bench only a few moments later, his hands tucked into his pockets as he stepped from the grass and onto that gravel path that wove its way lazily around the entirety of the park. He could hardly remember the last time he walked simply for the sake of walking. Perhaps today would be the day for such a new experience. Those violet eyes continued to linger on the negligent mother for some moments yet, Frost at last allowing that affinity for illusion to reach out toward the child she was all but failing to watch. Several illusionary butterflies appearing mere inches from the girl- instantly distracting her from the thorny plants she was mere seconds away from grasping. Her attention thoroughly consumed with those fluttering creatures just as Micah and Isabella had once been. Frost allowing those illusions to last a few more minutes until the child was safely away from that bush before allowing them to fade before anyone might yet witness his efforts. Idiotic parents by far one off his greatest announces in life. A part of him, perhaps, inclined to find some measure of disdain in so being denied raising his own children when people such as that so squandered such a task.

An irritable snort easily left in them, the stallion turning silently away to make his way further into that park, several people content to step aside and allow him to pass. Half of them were hardly even Were-creatures and yet how easily that Alpha blood might yet be detected. The vaguest of simpers readily traced his lips at the idea and yet, as always, his near expressionless facade remained. Frost's lack of emotion as near infamous as his tendency for violence. Yet today, he found himself almost...content. Even if such an emotion was hardly inclined to last for long. The stallion rounding that corner only for a familiar scent to find him. Those equine senses affording him those animalistic skills even within his human skin. He knew that scent. That woman. Ellie one of the few beings he had taken any sort of fancy too. Her demeanor was....baffling to him. The very joy she seemed to radiate unlike anything he had ever seen before. For a Hunter especially. She was an anomaly, an oddity and for that reason alone intrigued him in a way others failed to do. Her skill with those sweet treats only adding to her appeal. His gaze readily scanned that park before falling onto the woman as she sat beneath a tree several feet away, another man lingering beside her. Ellie insisting she was not alone only for the man to insist she was.

Frost stepped easily from the path then to wander towards the pair, his own short stature decidedly noticeable near that far taller man and yet Frost rarely found himself inclined to consider such things. That rarely seen smile finding his lips then as he crossed that grass toward Ellie, his gaze briefly meeting the other man's own before his attention fell upon the Hunter woman. That smile hardly faltering as those smooth, simple words found him.

"I'm sorry I'm late. I got held up at work."

He lent down smoothly, his lips brushing her cheek in a gesture of affection before straightening himself once more, Frost allowing his stance to remain decidedly neutral and yet his gaze lingered with a distinct purpose on the man before him. How he disliked the vulgar attitude of such blatant, fumbling men as this. Frost content to merely allow his gaze to meet the other mans for several long moments as that distinctly uncomfortable silence seemed to fall over the trio. That smile upon Frost's own features having faded into that emotionless facade he so often wore. The equine entirely content to watch that other man grow only more and more....unsettled in his presence. The other man quite clearly attempting to decide just how to handle another man whom hardly spoke and yet whose very....authority lay thickly over that small space. Frost unwilling to allow any harm to come to a creature such as Ellie. One whom had so generously provided him those sugary treats he delighted in. The Hunter a far more appealing companion then Beylani had been and yet- she had been put in her place. As this man would be. Those words rather suddenly parting his lips then. His tone decidedly cool now.

"Are you done here? I suspect you are."
