South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

No-good scoundrel. Tasteless mutt. Pest, asshole, douchebag... the list went on and on in regard to the things that the dog had been called. And, well, they were more or less right. Except for the "tasteless mutt" one, the were considering himself to have a rather grand taste in females he chose to try and charm into letting him steal her sheets for the evening. And yet, he never even took the time or bothered to try and argue that these "terms of endearment" were meant to try and take his solid and overly abundant arrogance down a notch or two... or four. Goodness, no. The were was very much aware of the intentions behind such names, fully acknowledging them as a means to try and get the dog to go and find someone else to try and win the fleeting affections of and still he often chose to simply ignore them, even when it all did prove to be fruitless. Of course, the key word here was "try", and gods knew just how hard many of the women did with the hope that the dog might just lose interest, meandering off into the crowd in search of someone much easier to enrapture. He knew that most males might have had their pride chipped into by such name-calling as women would turn their noses up to a wild and sometimes even relentless flirt like Levi, but the dog hardly ever lost any of his confidence or pride whenever a pretty face saw right through him and hadn't had enough grey goose martinis or strawberry daiquiris to think that a night of meaningless sex with a total stranger would be a great way to start off her weekend or perhaps the new and very much single chapter of her life after a nasty breakup. And yet, it was rarely that he would falter against their onslaught while the persisted in their "hard to get" ways. Perhaps if they knew that it was such a chase that only ever encouraged him more, had him more than happy to pursue them even further until they either ended up slapping him or some other man came along and saved the day.

It would surprise no one that he's been thrown out of strippers' clubs and burlesque bars for harassing the women that both danced in those scandalous clothes and the waitresses who served the guests. He's been punched in a handful of fights by boyfriends whom he hadn't seen at first or just by stand-up fellows that wouldn't tolerate someone like Levi persisting when his intended quarry made a big enough scene to draw the attention of more modest and chivalrous males. He's won some brawls and gotten the girl as many times as he's won then and still ended up leaving empty-handed without that twilight companionship he never said no to. And even for all the wins and losses the dog has endured, by some way of a miracle â€" or curse in the eyes of the fairer sex â€" his confidence still remained intact, and on some days, he might even come off as more cocky than usual if he finally managed to get himself a full night's sleep. By the gods, there was nothing like a sound and empty eight hours with true REM on the side to really make the were come on strong, so perhaps it was almost a good thing that such nights were so rare. If he was always so well-rested, surely the women would be wishing for sanctuary more so than they already did when the dog was around. That was the one thing Levi enjoyed more than all the wild and careless sex with women he would never see again â€" well, unless the circumstances were just too good to pass up a second round. He could go hungry for a couple days, make it without money for a little while longer than that... when it came to sleep and sex, well, there really wasn't any dissuading him from either. Now, that being said, if he had to choose between a full night's sleep and a beautiful woman, he would have to actually contemplate which one sounded better at the time, more than likely opting for some false romancing than rest, but there would also be moments where he would happily ditch a drop-dead gorgeous brunette for the comforts of his bed so that he might fall into the quiet embrace of slumber. Really, it was just as orgasmic for him as the actual act of reckless desire being satisfied for the night, but sometimes there would just be that evening where he wanted his bed more than someone else's.

However, the she-wolf would not be so lucky as to catch him in a moment where he was more readily fantasizing about his bed rather than whom he might share one with. No, she got the... privilege of seeing the dog in perhaps one of his more persistent and intrigued moods. After all, it really wasn't often that the were came across another of his own kind, and a canine no less! It sounds kind of strange, thinking that he hadn't encountered other weres like himself or the she-wolf while living in the city of angels or even on his aimless journey across various states and countrysides only to end up here of all places, in a city where magic was alive in just about everything, even permeating through the paved and packed streets that crisscrossed the innards of Sacrosanct. How unfortunate for her, and how delectable of a chance meeting it was for him. As with most women, he fully expected for her to roll those pretty jade green eyes and give him some sort of sassy rebuttal, and she most certainly lived up to those very anticipations the wild dog had of her â€" and then some. What had initially surprised him though, was her willingness to try and make some sort of effort to be kind, and maybe if he were any sort of decent individual, he might have paid her the same respects. But alas, that was not who Levi was and he most definitely wasn't about to pass up on the opening she left for him. It was almost like forgetting to close the door just long enough for a fly to slip through the slight opening, really. Once she gave him that terribly small chance to be decent, there was no going back now, and gods knew how she would regret thinking he would pay it forward. Smoldering dark eyes watch with keen awareness as her ears fall back against her head in agitation, but instead of getting the hint â€" one of probably half a dozen that she's already dropped by now â€" the dog can hardly help the amusement that he takes from her body language screaming that she did not appreciate his mannerisms.

She gives a small snort as he lifts that one hind leg to scratch idly at his side. Who didn't enjoy a good scratching, even when there wasn't anything crawling through one's fur? Come on, let's be honest. Again, she gives him a roll of her emerald gaze, her words reaching large and rounded ears while she takes several steps away and out of the creek she'd previously been relaxing in. Had he been in his human form, he would have been wearing his signature smirk and given a shrug of his broad shoulders, but instead he simply gives a wag of his tail."Fleas? Nah, I got checked for those yesterday. Clean as a whistle", he replies in turn, humor flickering across his gaze as he readily takes the same number of steps forward that she'd taken back in something almost like a dance. It was a challenge almost, the way that she moves away from him, unknowingly beckoning him to give chase as intrigue and desire brushes against the prey drive in the wild dog. He would have loved to run after her, chase her through the trees just for the hell of it. Sure, it would end in snarls and snapping teeth, but the were male was down for that just as much as if she would have found his forwardness charming like some might have. That was what he loved about women. They were like a box of chocolates, each one different from the next, some happily indulging him just for the fun of a fling while others wanted to hit him where it hurts so he'd finally get the point and leave them be. He can feel the shift in the weather, a gentle rain starting to fall over the outskirts of the city and causing the she-wolf to glance upwards before they fall back onto him, far from sharing that same glimmer of amusement that the wild dog was getting from every moment. When her voice finds him again, she is turning her back to him now, flicking her tail and successfully giving him a mouthful of fur, and all he can think was how soft her pelt was. It tickles his nose and coerces a soft sneeze from the wild dog, but otherwise unfazed him as he moves after her."I'm sorry, but I don't believe you for even a second", he remarks then, keeping perhaps no less than half a stride behind her.

Oh, she was good at this game, wasn't she!? At his mostly innocent attempt at getting to know her is swiftly brushed away. As if plenty of unamused and disinterested females haven't tried to use this same exact strategy that she was trying on the dog now."Oh, so that's how you wanna play, huh babe? That's alright, I love guessing games", he says boldly, effortlessly keeping pace with the she-wolf as he trails after her through the trees. He feigns contemplation then, a moment of silence that she was likely thankful for only coming to an end what she surely considered to be far too soon."Let's see... has it been less than a year?", he asks then, his intrigue in the female far from waning even as she hardly stops of glances over her shoulder to him. If anything, he honestly just expected for her to give him a "maybe" or a "none of your business", that was all too predictable though and he was almost hoping that she might just surprise him. But if she thought trying to make herself appear bland and boring would get the dog off her tail, well then, she had another thing coming. It wasn't like he was doing her any physical or mental harm. Truthfully, when Levi was like this, he was about as harmless as males come. Perhaps she should be thankful that he was just a pest instead of the more impatient or aggressive type, but he kept this thought to himself. Yes, he was forward and relentless, but he wasn't some rapist or abuser. It was all in good fun, the wild dog honestly expecting to get nowhere with the she-wolf and yet he simply couldn't help himself with her! Maybe it was just his knack for pushing the limits until something â€" or in this case, someone â€" snapped, maybe it wasn't. One might say it was the allure of craving something he knew he more than likely wouldn't be able to have, and that was probably true, but there was something about this feisty female that left Levi wanting to see if just maybe pushing his luck and showing his persistence might get him somewhere, anywhere with her.
