South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

i'm not ashamed of my scars, i'm ashamed of the world for not understanding.

Books would always hold a special place in her heart. Reading a book allowed the young woman to briefly escape the madness in which she lived in. As a child it was her chance to see what life could be like. It was all fictional, she knew this, but she found it all absolutely fascinating! Amazing adventures, thrilling mysteries, peculiar fantasy and sci-fi, even fictional books, they were all very interesting to her. Any book she could get her hands on she treasured them all. One of her earliest memories as a child was her reading one of those children fairy tale books underneath the moonlight that peeked from the windows. When she was afraid she kept her focus solely on the books allowing those stories to distract her. They were her gateway to know what life could be like. Of course it was all extravagant. Make believe, a fantasy. It made sleeping a bit bearable. It was silly, but the young girl would dream of her own adventures with the different characters she had read, having them become her friends. It was that child nativity that possibly gave her that slim chance...at being...okay? By no means she wasn't perfect, but she was still capable of being normal. A functioning member of society. Quietly she read the book finding that Norse mythology all quite remarkable, extremely different from the Greek mythology. She was quite engrossed with the current story that she hardly noticed the approach of the Were-Horse coming. Hearing her name, blue-grey eyes shifted upwards from the pages. For a moment she blinked a bit uncertain how to respond. Usually she would give the greeter a warm smile, but this was Frost...and they weren't exactly friends or acquaintances....they were just...well she wasn't quite sure. Tetradore did say she ought to be nice. With a curt nod she spoke her voice cracking for a moment, not out of fear, but because she hadn't used it for a while.

"Hello Frost."

There that was friendly enough, right? Well, no. She knew that. She could have been nicer. Perhaps a lighter tone? Maybe she should have smiled. It didn't matter now she guessed. What was done was done. A bit disappointed in herself she looked down at the book. Gently she turned the page seeing that there was nothing else. She finally finished the book. Slowly she closed the book setting it in her lap, her fingers tracing the deep lines within the book cover. It wasn't surprising that Frost was capable of picking up that sugary, lemon scent. Turning to her side she grabbed the silver tin and opened it up to reveal those delicious treats she made just for him. Noticing he was keeping his distance she easily lifted the tin from her hands, using her telekinesis to move the tin over to him, keeping it levitated until he took it. With a nod a small smile appeared the girl quite pleased. It wasn't every day she got to show off her talents.

"I heard horses like sugary things. Cooking with fruits isn't something I get to do often. I think they turned out pretty well."

As he tried a lemon bar she waited patiently for his verdict. She always knew she made something delicious when she watched her packs' faces bite into her meal. Sometimes their approval was when their eyebrows rose, other times there was a vocal pleasing sound. With Frost she wasn't quite sure if she would even see a glimmer of change on his unemotional face. He would probably be the type telling her it wasn't good enough. His inquiry on what she feared the most about her other half caught her off guard a bit. So, that was it then...just hop right into it? Looking back at the book she traced the lines again. In all honesty she didn't really like her other half. She was dangerous. If they would have behaved maybe her pack wouldn't have harmed them terribly. They were just...trying to help. Sure their help was abusive, and there was no excuse, and yet did she really have to kill them all? Muttering softly she answered his question to the best of her ability.

"It...er...she...she...I know she's like a defense mechanism, but she doesn't have to kill all the time...I should be able to make that decision â€" not her. I don't like how she just takes control...I want a say."
