South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

we built this city on broken glass

Raven, in the very least, seemed content enough with his keeping his distance. Frost making some effort in the least to prevent the curly-haired woman having some sort of mental breakdown at his presence lingering too closely within her space. Of she desired his help she was going to have to become used to him near her and yet he was willing to treat her, for all intents and purposes, like a wild colt. One that was going to take some time before it was willing to allow him to stand near it. How much she better appreciate his efforts. Frost rarely inclined to do anything from the supposed goodness of his debatable heart. Still, there was far more then one reason to steadily coax the woman into accepting his presence. Frost, for now, keeping those very thoughts to himself and turning his mind toward the task at hand alone. This 'other', this fearalness that seemed to exist within Raven was....problematic. More so for her then any other and yet her utter lack of control of that very being so assured that it existed as a weakness rather then the strength that it should be. Frost assured in turn that a part of her lack of control, in the very least, stemmed from her fear of that creature that had risen to her defense on several occasions as something of an....over enthusiastic protector. Although how one judged that very enthusiasm remained to be seen. Frosts attention drifting, briefly, to that sweet, surgery scent that seemed to fill the air. His violet gaze falling on that tin beside Raven with that ready inquiry.

Her insistence that she had heard that horses enjoyed sweet treats readily prompted the lift of an eye and yet he offered no further comment upon it as that tin was suddenly lifted with Raven's power, that power she used the most, before being carried toward him. Frost easily accepting that tin then with a softly offered word of thanks before lifting the lid to more closely examine those treats. That sweet smell was nothing short of appealing. Frost plucking a lemon bar from within before lifting it to his lips to bite into it, his features remaining decidedly impassive as he examined that taste. His gaze hidden beneath that forelock of snowy hair before his head so suddenly lifted to allow that gaze to find Raven's own.

"It's good."

It was simple praise, perhaps, and yet Frost so rarely offered any sort of praise at all. Those words perhaps more meaningful then the young woman might truly perceive as the equine slowly finish that last bite with a clear satisfaction. Whoever had told her horses enjoyed such things had not been lying. A part of him inclined to ask who and yet for now he dismissed the very idea. That payment of sorts for his time so clearly accepted as the lid on the tin was replaced and Frost moved to place it at his feet in turn before offering that question of sorts. Training the woman, after all, would be one thing. Helping her understand her own desires in this another. Frost querying what exactly she was afraid off when it came to that feral power that seemed to take control off her when she needed it most. She had been born with it, he knew. The likelihood off her ever having total dominion off it unlikely and yet as it was she executed no control at all. A lack of control was a weakness. A lack of control over a power like this capable of doing more than harming just herself. For a being with so many goddamn morals he was almost surprised her desire to protect those around her did not allow some kind of control in turn. It was....puzzling. Yet not beyond the sort of puzzle he enjoyed. Frost finding a ready curiosity in all that Raven was capable off- even if the woman herself seemed reluctant to embrace it.

His attention lingered upon her then as she offered her that response. Fear seeming to drive her as he had anticipated and yet- she did not lack desire to control it all the same. That in the least was a positive. Yet working with someone uninclined to allow his usual methods might very prove...complex. Still. There was nothing to be gained from not trying. Frost considering his own thoughts for several moments then, his gaze continuing to ligner on the woman from beneath that snowy forelock of hair. The man near musings those thoughts out loud then as he wandered closer to Raven all the same.

"Do you not find it curious that 'she' appears when you feel least in control? She appears in situations she feels you cannot handle, because you have given her reason to believe you cannot handle them. You talk about her like she is an enemy. That, I think, is your first problem. 'She', this thing, whatever you want to call her, is not your enemy. She is merely another side to yourself. Considering your mate I assume you understand?"

One eye arched upwards then and yet those words were hardly harsh as they might have once been. Frost, this time, hardly seeking to irritate Raven by calling out the inadequacies of her mate.Rather, the stallion merely attempted to shift her own manner of thinking. Frost offering some indication, for the first time, that he had known such a thing about Tobias for far longer than he cared to admit.

"He has two voices within his mind, whenever I hear his thoughts. Two active, clear voices. Yours is not the same, but like your mate, there is two of you."

How cute. Such...bizarre people had found one another. Frost offering little more upon that very line of thought. The stoic stallion merely allowing Raven to consider that very idea further before continuing.

"I have several theories but one of them is the belief that you need prove to yourself and your other side that you are capable of taking care of yourself- that you do not need her to step in. The only way that is going to happen is through practice."
