South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

The University of Sacrosanct offers some of the top programs in the nation with its outstanding campus and specialized faculty. The University places a high focus both upon educating future generations but also on research to help revolutionize the world. The University welcomes the talent of students across the world to enroll and unlock their unlimited potential. With applications from across the nation, classes fill up quickly.

She's habitually paradoxical, a parallel perpendicular;

How unappealing those frigid depths seemed to the fae woman, she was quite certain the person that swam within them must have been someone a little off. It would have to be the only rightful explanation, who else would lounge within those icy depths like he was enjoying the warm waters of some volcanic springs. She was going to do her best to avoid that unsavory interaction altogether, she was quite adept at remaining as unseen as those stoic deer within the forest. Blend in, she thought, even though her heart feel like a humming birds wings fluttering wildly persistent in her chest. What if she got caught?

So when she very sneakily, might she add, snatched that brilliant necklace she so desperately clung to that precious emerald, she couldn't wait until she fled to a safe enough distance to truly admire it. Her fingers laced between the yellow golden chain as if she was afraid for it to simply disappear from her grasp, her knuckles nearly snow white from that very grip. She was sure that they would leave imprints within the pads of her fingers, but she needed to make sure it was not going anywhere.. there was absolutely no way she was letting it leave her clutches. Maybe she should have hidden it within her bag that slung over her shoulder that contained a wide array of snacks for herself but mainly for those forest creatures that needed befriending. However, she is reluctant, that precious stone was certainly too pretty to not look at it as she slid throughout the trees, weaving through them as if to keep her trail almost unpredictable, as much as she possibly could. She was quite decent at being sneaky when she needed to be a stealthy forest ghost lost within the tangle of that barren forest.

Being stealthy was an absolute necessity when she collected her gemstones, people for the most part hardly seemed happy about allowing those pretty objects go. No one could appreciate them, not quite like her! How convinced she was that they were in no better caring hands than her own.

That was when a shadow near blotted out the very warm golden sun she enjoyed. It must have been an eagle or another large bird, she didn't dare to look up and perhaps she should have, not that it would have done the fae any good. When suddenly a massive form lands with powerful flapping of those horrifying dragonesque wings. She swore she felt the ground shudder, or maybe it was only her mind, she hardly knew. The powerful force of those wings sent her pale blonde hair scattering around her, exposing her pointed ears. Her heart beat fluttered wildly and she near springs to run, to flee far, far away! "DRAGON!!!!!!" She screams! Clutching her emerald stone as if it possessed all the answers and yet all it did was cause her grief. However, despite how braced her petite form was coiled to run as fast as her limbs could carry her, she freezes. Her metallic silvery eyes widening in sheer disbelief as recognition resolutely grips her suddenly. It...was...him.. Immediate the innocent fairy begins to involuntarily shiver like those shriveled dry leaves still clinging to those dormant goliath trees.

This man before her was bone chillingly frightening then as he is now. He all but towered over her, like his form alone could blot out the entire sun from that sky. His magnificent form glittering from those undried droplets that clung to his body then. "It..its you.." She scrunched up her face, her nose wrinkling at the sight of him, her words are no more than a strained whisper. He looked more beast than man and she was hardly prepared for him to simply fall from the sky like a vengeful god coming down to pelt her with justice. Iliana just could not help herself and surely she was not willing to let it go. The emerald was the most beautiful thing she had laid her eyes on. That frown was near enough to make her cower like a frightened deer. Panic.. utter panic assaults her so resolutely then she can barely stand merely standing there, like she awaited her execution. She avoids his eyes at all costs as she begins backing up.. He blocked her way to safety.. she didn't want to go back.. he was too fast.. maybe she could be faster. Her timid gaze then drift toward his wings and she nearly winced at his voice. "I do not steal... I borrow.. there is a difference.." She nodded firmly, her voice stuttering anxiously, whilst hands clutched even tighter to that large gemstone in her hand.

He was steaming against the cold air, he looked increasingly more like a vengeful dragon than ever before. "You abandoned it.. it was unguarded." She shuffles her feet, carefully catching herself when she almost falls... Again.. no not this time she was not. She froze, the moment her feet reached that snagging root upon that ground.

"I need it." She coyly looks upward to meet his face before settling on his chest, almost instantly regretting that action. A pretty pink hue crept upon her cheeks. What was up with half naked muscular men in the forest? Was this a normal thing for Sacrosanct? She had never seen many muscles in all her life and they were truly dangerous things. How convinced they were that they bit, those warnings must be true. Maybe it was best to give him his trinket and cut her losses. However, her slender fingers desperately wrap tightly around that now warm gem like it was her very lifeline and she could hardly even will her fingers to stop clutching it near fiercely. Yet truly she was hardly a creature that could even fight off a creature like him. Not that she would dare want to.

But then he asks about Mr. Crow and it was like instantly her demeanor seemed to melt into something else entirely, a flicker of excitement danced within her metallic eyes. "Mr. Crow! He was.... Supposed to be on the look out.. but I think I might have lost him. He does do that sometimes. It must have been important." she nearly drones on, that prickly nervousness flowing away. How people call one another bird brained she would never understand! Birds were quite clever, perhaps even the most clever of all the animals within this forest. If you ever heard birds communicate with one another, one would never question that ever again. She was so very sure of it.

"You aren't going to eat me are you? There.. are too many things in this city that want to eat me.." She frowns softly, her voice trailing off slightly. Still clutching that large stone, nestled against her chest almost desperately.
