South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

we built this city on broken glass

He could hear those thoughts of doubt that turned within her mind. The woman near shrinking away from the idea that she was any sort of leader. That she was neither worthy of the role or deserving of it in any sense. Perhaps she was not. The Leadership of others was a difficult thing. To lead others was to not only make decisions for yourself but them in turn- so often at the cost of ourself and yet- he was hardly asking her to lead an army through enemy territory and to soem glorious victory. He merely wanted her to lead herself. If she was incapable of that then she was incapable of nearly everything. Frost, quite simply, refusing to believe her resolve was near so poor as even she seemed inclined to think. Maybe she was not destined to lead armies, but he was wholly determined he could assist her in taking command off her own life in the very least. Along with that Other that existed within her. It was, after all, nothing more then a part of her. One that had run unchecked for far to long until even she feared it. How she had allowed herself to reach such a stage he hardly knew and yet he had long since come to the realisation they were distinctly different people. Perhaps, once, they had suffered the same abuse in some capacity and yet they had chosen vastly different paths in the wake of it. She had all but bowed down to it in an effort to survive- he had had become only more defiant and yet- she had gained an ability to understand people in a way he....did not, could not. His veritable freedom had come at the price of the ability to trust, empathize or understand nearly any other. Just who the true victor was a debatable ideal.

That very shake off her head only furthered that frown upon his features. His affinity once more tugging at the thoughts within her mind that she hardly chose to reveal willingly to him and yet that he could very near read all the same. Frost caring little for that invasion of privacy in that moment. In his efforts to understand that young woman before him he was wholly willing to pry a little into her mind to see just what she was not offering aloud. It seemed Raven herself was distinctly aware of those differences between them. In the least she seemed to consider why he had become one way and she another. That a question even Frost himself held little answer too. His will power, perhaps, had simply been greater. His ability to defy fate perhaps playing some role in turn and yet he distinctly refused to believe that Raven herself did not hold those capabilities if only she applied them. Her own considerations of what he was lacking were almost....surprising. If not unanticipated. Frost not.....wholly incapable of the gentleness she considered and yet it was a distinct struggle in every sense to allow himself that vulnerability. When it came so easily and naturally to her. Frost so responding to that veritable shake off her head.

"I am not asking you to lead anyone other than yourself. If you are not the leader in your own life then there's little point to your existence."

His shoulders lifted in that loose shrug of sorts before his affinity so set to work to craft that scarecrow. A simple, harmless illusion. One merely designed to give Raven and her Other something to practice on. That Other, it seemed, hardly taking either his direction or his assistance entirely well. That near distorted voice he was presented with only furthering that look of displeasure upon his features. Although, he supposed, he was hardly surprised. That Other had been in control far to long and entirely without any sort of restriction. Perhaps she meant well and yet Raven could hardly live her life fearing herself. Even if she seemed to have been living that way so far. Frost content to point out near bluntly that error that had already been made. That mistake in not seeing how close that scarecrow had come if only because that Other was so focused on him she had hardly been watching her surroundings in the way Raven herself would have. They needed one another. No matter how much they might disapprove.

Frost gestured readily toward that Scarecrow then with that suggestion she should attack it. The stallion curious to see how she might go about that task and indeed just who would be in control. That shift overcame the woman easily. Raven replaced with that large wolf then before slinking forward and toward it in that infamous predatory pose. Why she hesitated in that moment he hardly knew. Frost frowning slightly and yet that Other was quick to seize that moment near instantly, leaping onto that scarecrow before all but ripping its head from its shoulders. Really, he could hardly fault either her style or her precision. That Other far more ready to attack where Raven remained cautious. The wolf whirling to face him then. If anything could be said for that Other in the least it was surely that she was predictable. The use of that telekinesis however, was unexpected, as it near collided with him with crushing force, his own willpower so fortunately rallying readily to prevent him from falling, breaking that hold in near the same moment as she grasped it. How readily he disliked the idea of falling down. His determination not to do it prevailing in that moment. Yet- he was so hardly required to act any further. That charging wolf all but falling to the ground off her own accord. Frost watching in mild surprise as that wrestle for control before that rather...meek wolf seemed to prevail and walk towards him. A simper tugging softly at his lip. His hands abruptly lifted to....clap.
"You did it, Raven. You took back control. You stopped her mid attack- and you thought you couldn't. Well done."

How very rare praise was from Frost in any sense....
