South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

The University of Sacrosanct offers some of the top programs in the nation with its outstanding campus and specialized faculty. The University places a high focus both upon educating future generations but also on research to help revolutionize the world. The University welcomes the talent of students across the world to enroll and unlock their unlimited potential. With applications from across the nation, classes fill up quickly.

She's habitually paradoxical, a parallel perpendicular;

As the moonlight haired fae glides through that forest, her feet hardly fail her now as she puts complete faith to maneuver over those protruding roots and fallen branches. She moves near erratically though, to purposely keep her trail near unfollowable to someone on land. She smiles a gentle triumphant expression as she was so tremendously sure she had successfully fled from that scene. All the petite fae needed to do was lie low, at least for a little while, after all, she was nearly home free. That familiar cave deep in the woods was just within reach, she could see the familiar marker's she had made for, that peculiar gnarled tree, and that rock that looked like a face. She What she hardly expected was being assaulted from above, a mighty eagle soaring above swooping down upon its timid fleeing prey. She was hardly anticipated that strong swooping form, that decent near silent and controlled. As his feet landed with a thick thudding sound it caused that debris and dust to explode around him impressively. Fear, icy cold and gripping fear clutches at her pounding heart which only makes her cling to that emerald tighter, those knuckles turning ivory white. DRAGON! He was a dragon she was sure of it. What did dragons do? They ate everything, including timid little fairies that stole from them. Her heart beat fluttered like a trapped panicked birds wings beating furiously. Oh, how she was not ready for death! Not at all.

DRAGON, she exclaimed, before gasping at that air that seemed so eager to flee her then. Her eyes wider than a doe staring down a predator, yes a doe, that is exactly what she felt like. How badly she wished to flee, to spring off into the concealing woods and take her chances that she was indeed the faster one. But her eyes cannot help but gawk from both fear and awe at those massive monstrous wings that sprawl out imposingly behind him. How her body trembles like a clinging, dried leaf to a dormant tree during late fall. He looked like he could rip her apart with his bare hands, she could hardly help the way she stammers a slew of hurried words.

His scariness did seem to subside a little, as that sigh escaped him those taut bulging muscles seemed to grow much more lax than before as if he urged that anger to leave him then. She couldn't die, no, she had too much to live for, too many creatures to help, too many gems she had yet to add to her collection. She looked down at her feet and then that vibrant glittering gem within her grasping, despairing clutching fingers. That gem had already warmed against her hand as though it now generated its own heat source, already apart of her. Was it worth it? Was it worth dying over?

Iliana was met with Andras' deep commanding voice, chiding her, that very forest had seemed to grow silent as though it obeyed his authority. "No! That... that is not how it works. Gemstones should not even belong to any one person.. It belongs to the person who cherishes it most. It is a gift from lady nature herself." She nodded firmly not sure if she fully believed those words, but she wanted to, so much. However, she was glad that those words even left her at all!

Her silvery eyes dared to steal a glance then as he chuckled. "But.. but..." She stammers hopelessly, how could she argue with him. He was big and scary and maybe... even partially right. Thankfully, her mind can't seem to focus on any one thing except what he called her then. It finally sunk in and how she could hardly ignore it! The fae-woman's face seems to soften then, a pride overtook that dainty little dove of a woman.

"You think.... I am a dragon?" A giggle burst forth unbidden from her lips then, a smile she could not even bother hiding slid widely across her lips, exposing her bright white, polished teeth in a look of sheer glee right then. How short lived it was when she realized her stash was compromised.. How did he know that she possessed the most secret place? That smile twitched and faltered some. Her voice lowering almost to a fleeting whisper. "Y-y-ou know my place. How do you know?" she tries so desperately to stay in place, but that urge to flee to keep her pretty stones safe and sound from him was so very strong. They were the one thing that this timid, strange little creature was every protective over. She backs away, nearly stumbling over her own feet. How clumsy of her. She was hardly so clumsy and yet around him, she seems to forget herself. She was absolutely terrified of that looming fairy king.

Truly and yet she couldn't even pry her fingers from that stone even if she wanted to. She backs up until she brushes up against a sturdy old oak tree, the fabric of her jacket scrap against it. She wanted something between them, urgently. His inquiry surprises her, causing her to pause.. "You wont understand..." His face is smiling but he is still petrifying to her. She scrunches up her nose at him. "No one ever understands." She shook her head slowly, side by side to that tree now as if she could slip away and then flee to freedom. She had outrun him once before did she not? What she hardly expected was for him to mention Mr. Crow! How her features glow alight then!

"Mr. Crow, is smart, very smart. The smartest of them all.. but.... His attention span... sometimes.. he forgets." She smiles at the mention of her companion fondly, forgetting that she was going to flee this unknowing dark fairy king again. That question seems to thaw the jumpy little pale fae, as she concedes to peer at him now, she is... staring with those fixated metallic diamond-like eyes. "Did you know.. crows like to toboggan?" She divulges out arbitrarily, yet curiously, seeming to pull one of those randomly floating ideas from the pool of intricate and peculiar thoughts that dance within her mind.

She finally blurts out that final question that had prevented her from fully finding ease. Was he going to eat her, she was quite sure he was and yet.. she wanted to know. "Promise?" She asks quietly fidgeting with the chain of that necklace that so entwined within her protective fingers. She seemed to startle herself before looking to the ground, ever the jumpy little doe. "You have a court?" She questions coyly as she leans against that thick base of that tree that offers her support. Her hands seemed to quit their trembling as he introduces himself. "I am Iliana. but everyone calls me Illy. Have you always had such enormous....wings?"
