South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Beachside Bar & Bistro

Resting right on the beach near the small, locally owned shops and markets sits a bar and bistro with an elegant yet modern interior. There is seating both indoors and outdoors on the back patio where one can enjoy the melodic sounds of saltwater waves and fresh air. The menu consists of French dishes alongside American and Seafood choices and a wide range of liquors at the bar inside to accommodate the varied tastes and cravings of its customers. It is a charming little establishment that allows for those needing a break from the busy city streets to come and unwind.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Sebastian Ellington-Aragona

Crowned Prince of Italy

Oh how those pheromones so seemed to dance around her, that clear hint of fear all but potent to the Italian Prince, prompting him to give the skittish girl some measure of distance. His keen crystalline blue irises watched as she bit her lip, her head turning ever so slightly from him just so in some effort to provide him but a glimpse of her bedraggled features. An almost friendly simper crossed the vampire's features as he slowly crouched down at the edge of that little clearing the clearly anxious woman stood within. His effort to beacon Prescott towards him, however, seemed to prompt an almost mixed reaction in the puppy, the dog clearly all too keen on the woman he'd found, while also knowing well where he should go. Thankfully, the vampiric woman hardly seemed terribly put out by the puppy's playful antics, even as Sebastian offered her a softly spoken apology. His vibrant gaze shifted upwards towards the young woman at the sound of her near raspy voice, the very gruffness of it prompting his eyebrow to furrow ever so slightly in a small glimpse of concern. "I'm glad to hear that," Sebastian commented softly and yet, his thoughts were nothing if not utterly distracted. It was...unusual to find a fledgling vampire without her maker present - their kind often forming a unique bond with their creator and yet...perhaps her turning had been like his own. Sebastian remembered well what it was like to wake up alone with little idea of what he had become and even less of an idea on how to handle those cravings.

His momentary hesitance on the retrieval of Prescott was, at least momentarily, taken to the small dog's advantage. The puppy was seemingly under the conclusion that, without Sebastian's continued coaxing, he was allowed to continue his playfulness with the woman - that was, except for the small fact that her attention was no longer upon him. An almost high pitched bark left his lips as Prescott all but pounced upon the poor woman, his tongue lolling out of his jaws as he tried to reach her face, the puppy all but determined to shower her with wet, slobbery 'kisses'. A soft breath left Sebastian's lips as his head shook ever so slightly. His every movement was near purposefully slow, however, the man hardly wanting to further terrify the young girl as he reached for Prescott. He was all but gentle as he pulled the puppy off of her, his grip upon the dog's collar nothing if not firm as he effortlessly attached the leash to it, affording him control over the enthusiastic puppy all over again. "He seems quite taken with you." The Prince observed with another glimpse of that warm grin only to gesture down towards the puppy in a friendly attempt. "I'm Sebastian and this scoundrel is Prescott. That one over there is Maxwell....and you are?"
