South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

New place, new beginnings.

Atleast that's how it was supposed play out for Jericho. Sacrosanct was a huge city, full of endless possibilities that called people into it's deadly embrace. The fairy just happened to be another of many sheep moving to it's own slaughter. Yet he did not fear what this city would do to him, if anything he deserved what lay ahead of him, his soul so blackened by sin that not even the divine hand of god could cleanse it. He could only hope to escape it, start over in a place where the prying eyes of many could not see the constant shadow that loomed over him. It may just be a far off dream, something he knows that he does not deserve, but he reached for it none the less.

There were very few days in summer where the sun was blocked out by clouds that wept for days past where they once ruled the sky. What should have been a warm, sunny weekend in which creatures of all shapes and sizes would come out and enjoy turned into something far more dreary. However, what pushed many indoors, huddled up by the fire to listen to the rain drops hit their windows, was like a welcome embrace to Jericho. The fairy found solace in solitude, which seemed counter intuitive to the place in which he had moved: a large, bustling city. He just wished the toxicity of Sacorsanct would kill him already, or make him so numb he didn't feel anything at all.

Normally, the beach would be flooded with people, but the cold winds sliced through the rain and made it and undesirable place to be. With a nice coat however, Jericho had made the trek through the streets to the sandy shore. The waves crashed with a ferocity, their constant ebb and flow almost hypnotizing, calling for him to follow them out. Part of him wanted to, wanted to be pulled in to the waters icy depths, see the light above him fade into darkness as all the oxygen in his lungs ran out. However, another part, the more logical part of him hell bent on continuing his life kept him rooted in place.

Deep Mahogany eyes stared out over the vastness of the ocean, a part of him wondering what it would be like to simple vanish over it like Amelia Earhart or any other explorer whom had simply fallen off the face of the planet. It was funny how often he thought about his own death, some of his most vivid memories involved the desire to simply cease his own existence. But Jericho was a coward, it was why he sat upon the sand, soaked to the bone by the rain. His muscular form shivered slightly, hardly adept at keeping in heat well and his jacket now doing more harm than good. It was cold, but for Jer, it was always cold inside of himself.

And I have been poisoned inside...
...but I, I feel so alive.
