West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

Kathryn Quinn Murphy
I bet on me and my own heartbeat

As his now familiar chuckle bounces through the air and into her ears, Kathryn immediately releases her hand from the the neck of her hoodie and lifts her blue eyes upwards to meet his, realizing she had been caught. Hands drop to her sides as he assures her that it wasn't B-O that was causing him to wrinkle his nose with such foul disgust, but something else. What that something else was is entirely uncertain to the witch who cant remember she is one. Far more than skin deep? What could that possibly even be? Well no doubt he had super sense being a vampire and all, maybe he could detect something in her body that she couldn't. Kathryn's gaze burns with curiosity behind the blue hue of her eyes, but she doesn't ask Damon the question that sticks to her throat. His words were so round about, as twisty and curved as a roller coaster, so she doesn't trust that he would give her straight forward answer even if she asked, so she might as well save herself the trouble.

Eyes scan the plains of his face, as she gets the feeling that she is certain that he holds secrets he wasn't telling her. Though she cant blame him really for that, the two were strangers who happened to meet in a park...at night... in the middle of what had looked like a battle scene. Kathryn cannot even answer her own question of why she doesn't choose to turn away from him and walk the way she had came. Why she doesn't simply choose to forget all about Damon the vampire, why she doesn't choose to forget that vampires even exist all together. Kathryn could blame these thoughts on fear, fear of what he could do to her if she turned away now, but even she knows there is no basis for this reasoning, she was pretty sure if she turned tail and ran now that he wouldn't chase after her, that he would let her go, like a little butterfly that escapes from the unclasped hands of a small child. She blames it on fear because she cannot stand to think that there are unanswered questions that she needs resolved, both about the man in front of herâ€"and herself. So she says she is scared when really she is not, she says she doesn't care what words Damon speaks when really she is hanging onto every word and looking at each syllable through a magnifying glass, desperately searching for any hidden meaning hidden between the spaces of each letter.

She doesn't give him a firm yes or no, only alludes to the fact that she didn't have plans. But Damon nods, filling in her pause in hesitancy with plans for the evening she wasn't entirely sure that she wanted. Eyes narrow if only for a moment, as annoyance teeters at the back of her mind that he would just assume that she would go with him on what seemed like a wild goose chase...even if his assumption was right and that Kathryn would follow him on this search for whatever he may be looking for, wild goose or otherwise.

He chuckles again. She finds it fascinating that he can laugh so freely in this situation, with a man unconscious beside him, and girl he has only just met. He makes the situation seem normal almost and Kathryn finds that she has to keep reminding herself that everything about what was happening here was far from normal, starting with Damon being a vampire, and ending with Kathryn still being willing to stand in the same vicinity as him. HIs words hint that this town she now calls home may be filled with more surprises and secrets than what lets on in the yellow pages and her face widens slightly in surprise before it returns to an attempted neutral expression. "Well, I will just have to try harder now wont I?" She says with a note of sass in her voice as she folds her arms across her chest.

As she walks beside him, her questions left floating in the space between them as a smirk ushers forth as a response, Kathryn involuntary leans towards him slightly, as if she leaves to much space between them, the answers she requested would simply slip passed him and fall into oblivion. But it is a useless action because once again he dances around with his response. An annoyed sigh touches on her lips as blue eyes leave him to focus on the road ahead, wherever the heck that was going to lead. She hears his footsteps beside her, they were assured and confident, he knew where they were going, even if Kathryn was now finding herself in an unfamiliar part of town. Warehouses surround her and a slight panic of being in unchartered territory hits her. Despite her willingness to follow Damon, she had felt some ease at imagining being able to turn back at any time, but now, with being some where entirely new, she feels stuck with him, confident in knowing that he seemed aware of every nook and cranny of this place. Kathryn pulls her phone from her pocket and presses the home button, thinking perhaps she could use its map if needed to find her way back to her little Townhouse. The screen remains unlit, even as she gives it a second and a third press under thumb. Well, there goes that.

The wind rattles tin roofs, making the place even more eerie than at first glance. Kathryn moves her small body slightly closer to Damon, not touching him, but close enough to jump behind him should something startle her enough. The scene looks like a kid sister that was forced along with her older brother into a haunted house. Odd though that the biggest danger around her right now, is the one she finds herself walking next to. Suddenly a door slams shut and the young witch practically jumps into Damon's arms then and there, but instead she simply leaps closer to his side, one arms falls against his waist as the other instinctively reaches up, blocking her face from the opposing attacker that didn't exist. "What was that?" She yells, before realizing her mistake and becoming aware of how close she was to Damon. Kathryn quickly moves away from him, reminding herself that she didn't trust him, or particularly like him. "Sorry," she says, once more putting on that neutral voice that states she was only here so he wouldn't murder anyone.

They reach a door after climbing up a staircase and Kathryn perches the question of why they stopped here on top of her lips before she is interrupted by the fluent language she recognizes to be latin, but doesn't understand the meaning of the words behind, spoken from Damon. The door swings open, and Kathryn pauses at the entryway before following him inside, ultimately deciding she felt safer in the room with light and another body, than she did out in the dark by herself. She remains quiet as the vampire goes about his work of securing the man, flinching a time or two as he placed handcuffs on his wrists. Damon directs her to a wooden table with chairs and Kathryn silently obliges, scooting the chair as close to the table as possible as she props her elbows up on it, placing her head in her hands as eyes seem to blink less, not wanting to miss anything that may occur. The man wakes up, and Kathryn's head raises from her hands as she readies herself for any answers that were to come.
