West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

She was practically bursting with excitement, and why wouldn't she be? She loved days that she was able to go to the Ark, which tended to be most days. She loved seeing her friends there, Aiden and Tobi and she tended to always bring a drawing for each of them. The pale child lets out a trill of laughter as she lowers her colored pencil and admires her work. She hoped they would like the drawings she made for them. Violet eyes look for any finishing touches she may need to add, but she spots none and gives a satisfied smile of her work completion. On one picture, sits a proud leopard, with the fluffiest tail in all the planet and a pack of dark hunters are running away from him. While the humans are seemingly drawn with less grace from the child, she does seem to have drawn the leopard in alluringly vivid detail and Maeve feels a bright smile come to her face as she admires her work. Putting down that paper, the child reaches for the other one she completed. On it there is a giant panther, as dark as the a starless sky, with eyes that shin green like emerald gem stones. But on his face, is something that others may not find inherently Aiden Tetradore. For on his face there is a brilliant smile. Well, they do say love is blind, even if it is simply puppy love, or kitten love as Tobi may prefer to have such a thing be called. Regardless though, again, that child with hair as pale as starlight, had drawn the panther with almost excruciating detail. Maeve had always liked drawing animals, and Maeve was always one to practice and hone her skills.

"I hope they like them," she says, her voice light and silvery, matching that radiant and bright demeanor Maeve possessed so effortlessly. The youth slides out of her chair by the hotel desk and reaches for the periwinkle folder that Roman had given her to keep her drawings in, though very few are actually inside them, instead, the pale child's drawings were tapped up along the walls of the hotel room. The drawings typically featuring a powerful lion surely capable of performing terrible deeds if he so wished, but the warm smile upon his face revealing that he would never do such a thing, at least not any cruel action towards the child he had decided to accompany in this strange, large city.

Tiny hands pull back the thick curtain as violet eyes rove over the city below, stretched out beneath a lazy autumn sky. White tufts of cumulus hung in the great blue yonder that reached beyond every point on the horizon. From the beginning the she had managed to string things together, seen the beauty in silence and made words out of it, beautiful flowing words, words that found paintbrush and paper, or words that found ballet slippers and wood floor. There was an intelligence in her amethyst eyes. A brightness, oh no beyond the normal child, she still asked those wonderful questions, why is the sky blue, why is the grass green, where do babies come from. But she cared little for the wrong answers, she cared mostly for the right ones. And if someone could not tell her what that right answer was, well Maeve was bound and determined to find it, whether hidden in the pages of a book, or in the words of elders. An answer was always there.

Her lips lift into a smile as the blonde realizes the day will be quiet beautiful. A perfect time to spend the day on a ship at the dock. The grin remains positively beaming as she lets the curtain swing and rushes to change into some clothes that were not her pjs. Pulling on lighter high waisted jeans and an olive green graphic tee with black shoes. She admires her outfit in the mirror, purple eyes pleased with her decision. Ever since meeting Roman, he had helped her get some proper clothes, although they weren't the most lavish of outfits, they were new and they were entirely hers.

The pale child is dropped off in front of the ark, a well known and welcomed sight to the young girl. As she wanders up the ship, pictures in hand, it crosses her mind what she may ought to do today. Maybe, she thinks with a smile, she could convince Tobi to let her weave some flowers into his hair. Though that activity seemed unlikely. The creamy haired girl finally makes her way into the ship, her steps practically a skip with the joy she was feeling. But as Maeve enters, a small grown crosses her face, where was everyone? It was so quiet in here. Those large eyes peer around as she tucks a stray flaxen strand of her hair behind her ear.

Maeve continues to move around the ship with that quiet grace of hers, hardly making as much noise as a church mouse. She watches for the tall, lanky form of Tobi, and for the brooding, handsome exterior of Aiden, but alas, neither turn up to the poor child with blonde locks. But it is as she wanders into Aiden's office that Maeve realizes that she is not actually alone. Violet eyes spot a woman she had never seen before. "Umm hello," she says shyly in those high soprano notes to the unknown woman. She looks out at her underneath long, innocent lashes as she finds her voice once more, raising the pictures in her hand slightly as she does so. "I brought pictures...of Tobi and Aiden, but I cant find them," she says before taking a few steps towards the woman now. "I'm Maeve."
