West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

He smiles. It is little, but he smiles all the same and that is enough for Maeve. "I love snow leopards," she says as she finishes her twirl. "They live in the mountains and have good balance, like a ballerina." Clearly, the child has done her research on the animal. But then he gives her that sweet compliment and Maeve casts those lavender eyes downwards as a tint of pink comes to her cheeks. A compliment from the panther man was certainly unexpected for the fae child, but certainly not unwelcome. And she likes the feeling of her small hand in his much larger one, her pale skin against his much tanner pigment.

The blonde holds her tail within her hand for Tetradore to admire. "I wish I had a real tail," she says brightly, thinking on Tobi's beautiful leopard tail. "But faes do not have them," she says, recalling what Tobi had said on their first meeting. Though the realization may seem sad, it is anything but. Maeve is old enough to notice differences between herself and others, but she still remains too young to dwell on them for too long. As violet eyes rove over the empty area, wondering where everyone could possibly be, her answer is received as the panther informs the child they may be still upstairs putting the finishing touches on their costumes. She gives him a tiny bob of her head and a warm smile in response. The purple hue of her gaze then shifts pack to Tetradore, a curious expression worn openly across her pale face. "Aiden, what are you supposed to be?" She asks curiously as she looks to him, blonde locks shifting slightly with the movement of her head.

But the bleach blonde fae is distracted just a moment after as the sound of shoes stomping loudly against the floor begs the attention of the golden haired child. She turns her head in the direction of the sound, anxious to see what could be causing it. Imagine her surprise when she spots with violet eyes Tobi and Raven heading down the stairs. A smile lights up the golden haired child's face. She looks at the couple's costumes, unfortunately the child is unaccustomed to the human version of Robin Hood and more familiar with the Disney version in which Robin Hood is a fox. "Robin Hood!" The blonde exclaims. "So you are like a hero," she says, remembering the story line of the movie, how Robin steals from the rich and gives to the poor. The pale child looks to Tobi with such admiration before looking at his bow and the dulled arrows. Although, she isn't entirely sure of the term stab happy means.

And then it seems Tobias then notices the petite child's costume, providing him an eager nod in return to his grin and exclamation. "I am a snow leopard," the petite fae says excitedly, a bright and happy smile coming to those soft lips lighting up the delicate features of her face. The pale child eagerly offers the man her tail so he is able to her crafty work. She then follows his dark gaze with her own of violet to Aiden and Raven, a giggle running from her lips like a summer's breeze at his statement. "Well, I like leopards," she says as she reaches her arms around Tobi's waist to give him a hug. "I also like wolves," the pale golden haired child says as she offers Raven a hug before turning to Aiden and wrapping her petite arms around him once more. "And of course I love panthers," she says, always attempting to placate the masses.

Raven approaches the fae child and moves down to her level, prompting a shy smile from Maeve as the woman compliments her. "Thank you," she says, the acceptance of the Nightshade pack so entirely important to the faired haired fae girl for reasons she does not even know. Tobias mentions that word that is magical to all children (and were leopards it would seem.) Candy. Followed closely by the word cookies coming from Raven. "Sure!" She says practically jumping up and down. "What do you want me to do?" She asks, obviously eager to help and to be included in the pack's Halloween celebration. Amethyst eyes follow the direction Raven gestures towards and spots bright orange pumpkins. "Yes, I could, although," she eyes one the larger pumpkins and her pale little finger points towards it. "I may need help with that one," she admits with another shy smile towards the wolf girl. The fae child then proceeds to scamper off in the direction of the pumpkins, making sure she performed the task Raven entrusted her with to the best of her eight year old ability.

Just as she reaches for a pumpkin, she hears the sound of someone coming into the kitchen area. Violet eyes turn to meet the sight of none other than a shirtless man. She lets out a tiny squeal of surprise before clapping her hands over lavender eyes, all too entirely sure she was probably not supposed to see that. "You're naked," she says embarrassed and peeking out between her fingers, through still keeping her hands over her eyes is that she sees nothing but the faces of the adults. Of course, Maeve's idea of naked and Henry's idea of naked are most likely very different from one another.

But once again, Maeve's attention is drawn else where. She jumps in surprise, those hands flying back up to cover her eyes at the masked girl. But as she reveals her face and shows a smile, Maeve drops her hands and cannot help but return the gesture. "I'm a snow leopard. Grrr," she says raising her fair skinned hands like claws and showing her teeth as she presses them together in a sort of growl. "I'm Maeve," she says to both the girl and to the half dressed man (though she carefully manages not to look at him.) "We are decorating for Halloween, would you like to help?" She asks in that sweet soprano voice of hers before turning around and picking up a pumpkin once more and going to place them on the tables.
