West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

The sudden sound of Jackal toppling to the floor as he passed readily saw the lanky deviant pause within his bizzare, high-stepping walk to stare blankly back toward the toppled man. Tobias so briefly seeming to consider whether or not he had somehow knocked the man down before he dismissed the notion entirely. That pointed look Raven afforded the fallen fellow decidedly unseen as Tobias hurried down those stairs and into the main part of that hulking cargo ship where Tetradore and Meave waited. The deviant taking a sincere and thorough delight in displaying that costume complete with bows and arrows- even if his feet had not yet mastered any ability to walk in shoes. That bizarre manner of walking hardly ignored by Tetradore in the very least. His favoured companion so demanding to know just what he was doing. Tobias glancing from his brother to his feet and back again before gesturing to those brown leather boots he had managed to get onto his feet. These shoes the firs the boy had worn in years.

"My feet....have forgotten....how to....walk because of......boots."

This, he was sure, was a perfect explanation for his ridiculous attempts at moving about so far. The boy frowning slightly toward his companion as if Tetradore should instantly have understood this very thing before his attention returned to Maeve at large. Tobias, for all his volatility seeming to find a decided...placidity in the company of this particular child. He enjoyed her nature, her manner and the way she talked. The gangly deviant, in so many ways, almost akin to a child himself and as such he seemed largely tolerable of the girl as he so often was not of others. Maeve's ready exclamation of just what he was readily seemed to delight the young man all the more as he displayed that very weaponry for her to see along with that serious insistence he was not allowed to have real ones if only because he so often enjoyed injuring others with them far to much. Maeve's insistence he was a hero seeing the boy positively beam as he glanced toward Raven.

"I am...a hero."

He announced near solemnly as if Raven was somehow required to take note off this new and official title. His gaze turned readily then onto that tail on Maeve's own costume, the boy readily recognising that leopard look- his hand extended to take that offered tail to admire before declaring Leopard's were likely the best. His fingers ran easily through the tail off that faux fur with a clear intrigue before that tail was gently handed back to the child. Maeve insisting she liked leopards and wolves and panthers too. Tobias frowning ever so slightly at this clear like of so many animals when clearly only one was the best. Raven inclined to agree that panthers were probably the best of all. Tobias content to scowl towards his girlfriend then before demanding to know when their might be candy, his gaze shifting between tetradore and Raven in turn. One of them, he was sure, was likely to have candy. Maeve seeming equally as taken with the idea. Raven insisting there were cookies to be had.....if they did something first. Tobias eyeing his mate almost warily then. Work, of any kind, was hardly his favourite activity.

Maeve had no sooner been directed towards those pumpkins then that box of lights had been tossed into his own arms with instruction to change the bulbs in those lanterns without breaking them- lest he lose a cookie. Tobias seeming to waver between his desire for cookies and his disdain for work. The boy glancing toward Tetradore as if searching for manner in which to get cookies without work and yet.....he did like cookies. His mate knowing him perhaps far to well as his head nodded at last and Raven saw to dictating the rest of those tasks. Only for Henry to arrive. That sudden squeal from Maeve as she frantically covered her eyes prompting Tobias to turn. His own dark eyes blinking at the sight of the barely dressed man. Nakedness, amongst Weres, a decidedly common thing and yet that this was so supposed to be Henry's costume readily saw the boy frown. Henry seeming equally put out by Maeve's presence. That a shirtless man was not appropriate for a child hardly seeming to occur to Tobias at all. A sudden grin finding the deviants features.

"I have....seen better."

That ready tease fell easily from his lips then, Tobias' tongue poking out in clear cheek as that hissing snicker fell from his lips. Tetradore insisting Henry put on a shirt as Alexis strode down those stairs and towards them. Tobias once more seeming to find delight in the appearance of the vixen with her mask and knife in hand.

"Pretty! Is your....knife....not real...too?"

He juggled that box within his arms, reaching for another arrow to display that rubber tipped weapon to the woman. Tobias attempting to eye that knife she had in turn and deduce whether or not Alexis had been allowed to have something he wasn't. That query from the vixen on just what Tetradore was supposed to be was readily answered by yet another as Mira announced her own arrival, the womens superhero costume seemed to earn the deviants approval.

"Mirrrrrraaaaaa."

That word rolled easily upon his tongue. Tobias so seeming to enjoy saying her name for no other reason then he liked the sounds the letters made. Just who exactly Mira was dressed as was surely lost upon him as the exact specifics of Alexis' own and yet Tobias readily accepted near any costume on that particular night. The boy hardly requiring to understand who or what that costume was to enjoy its existence. That decided lack of Tetradore's own seeming to prompt that tilt of the boys head momentarily before he reached for that hat that sat upon his own. Tobias moving to place that green hat complete with red feather atop Tetradore's own head before nodding.

"You are....my....Merry Man!"

Oh the irony. Tetradore perhaps the least 'Merry' man in existence. That snicker of delight falling from the boy once more and yet- at least Tetradore had been provided a costume. Tobias' head nodded once more in satisfaction before he moved to the first of those lamps to see about changing that bulb as instructed and for the promise of a reward...
