West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

i'm not ashamed of my scars, i'm ashamed of the world for not understanding.

They were far from nice people. They were not kind to her and her other half one night had enough of it, all of it. What she did that not was not right. She shouldn't have taken their lives, but what choice did she have? That wasn't a life she should be in anymore and no one was going to take her out of that terrible situation. According to that other side of her they deserved their gruesome fate, all of them. Such things couldn't be told to the young, innocent Fae. That question on whether or not she had to see them again made her frown as she looked away from Maeve and straight out the porthole from Tetradores' bedroom. Looking at the clouds she pondered on that question. She wouldn't see a lot of them ever again. They were dead. But even in death she saw them. When she closed her eyes to sleep, without Tobias by her side, she had those nightmares reliving the torture. She hated seeing them, she hated reliving the past. That one time when she was with her raven-haired witch she had seen them again, but this time as ghosts truly haunting her. And then there was the surprise of finding her Father still alive. She saw those she feared again, and again, but explaining it all seemed too much to explain to Maeve. With a shrug of her shoulders she decided to respond to her other questions.

"In a way I did run away from them. My pack here will keep me safe from them if they ever returned, and I am sure we will keep you safe from anyone that would harm you."

If Tetradore and Tobias liked Maeve then the little girl had no need to fear anyone or anything. She may not be a Were, but she would be looked over by their pack. The King of the West and his Beta were quite a ruthless pair and they were absolutely possessive over what they believed to be theirs. Once you were claimed by them you knew you would always be safe and taken care of. She chose a very strong Alpha and mate, and Maeve was lucky to have them as a friend. Though now she would be the pack's responsibility in a way. One hand gently reached out to pat the girl on the head, her fingers running down to touch her cheek, as a small smile appeared. The Fae had no idea how lucky she was to have the Nightshade pack as her friend. Complementing the Maeve drawings' she agreed to her wish to see what she looked like in her animal form. Although Raven didn't think at her age it would be wise for her to actually witness the transformation. It might be a bit too grotesque. Taking her to Tetradore's bed she informed the woman to close her eyes before she changed. It didn't take long for Raven to stand on her four paws informing the girl she could turn around and see her. Seeing the girl elated her tail wagged side to side as she walked up towards her. Raven allowed the girl to pet her. As the little girl wrapped her short arms to give her a hug she nuzzled into her gently.

"Well, thank you, little one. That's very kind of you."

After Maeve placed a gentle kiss on her cheek she craned her head upwards to press her cold nose against her cheek before licking it softly. Lying down she would allow the Fae girl to run her little fingers through the soft dark fur. Her eyes would eventually close in peace as she allowed the girl to do what she wished. Although that moment of peace was interrupted as a short Hispanic man entered the room. He headed over towards her and started whispering in her ear. The lupine sighed softly and lifted up to stand. Blue-grey eyes looked to the Fae girl as her voice gently pressed into her head.

"There are some things that I need to tend to. Tobias and Tetradore are not home yet. You may stay if you'd like, but I need to leave the Ark. It was very nice to meet you Maeve."

With another wag of her tail and a gentle nuzzle she turned around and left the room, eventually exiting the Ark and heading towards another side of the West district.
