West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Black Market

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Forever moving, it's nearly impossible to find without knowing someone who knows someone. Anything you desire can be brought for a hefty price within the Black Market - be it drugs, weapons, or lives.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

She had to believe it was Mira down there fighting all those wolves and she felt helpless up here on the sand dunes. Mira was holding her own but Alexis didn't know whether to be mesmerized or frightened for all the lava spilling out of her. Was that just her powers or was that her form of blood? Alexis wanted to heal her but wasn't sure how it would react with her in this form plus it would weaken Alexis and she wanted to be able to help ward off the attacks first. Mire was tough. Hopefully she could hold out until they got through this. Alexis tightened her grip on her katana's, whistling for attention and that's when she turned her head, seeing the wolves running down the beach. Narrowing her eyes, she immediately went back to her bow and started letting loose arrows, watching as they found targets.

She knew she might not be able to kill them all but if they took out enough, maybe the ones in charge would choose to retreat and try again another day. Then they could get back to the Ark and regroup. Hearing growls, she turned back, only to see three wolves stalking up on her, salive dripping from their parted jaws. The first one lunged forward snapping and was met with a katana blade right through the top of his skull. The second circled around and went to pounce and she dodged in a crouch, swinging the other katana up to slice cleaning through the middle of the wolf's body. The third seemed to hold back, considering and that was long enough for her to throw her katana and lodge it in the wolf's chest. It stumbled side to side for a minute, choking and coughing before it collapsed and went still.

Sighing, Alexis turned back to see how Mira was doing and she didn't like what she saw. Her shield had been doing it's part, bouncing the wolves back every time they tried to get a shot in. Good thing she'd been practicing with distractions so she was skilled at keeping her shield going even while working on attackers herself so Mira should have stayed protected. One wolf stood out from the others, his rust colored coat somehow marking him as different. He smiled at Mira and Alexis felt a shudder run down her own spine as she glared at him. What was he up to? Suddenly Mira went very still and took a step forward. Something in her body language was off, like she was bracing for something. What was going on? Alexis wasn't sure so she notched some more arrows and sent them flying at the wolf, hoping to end whatever power he'd put over her pack mate.
