West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

Wake up to your dreams
And watch them come true

It felt good to dance again with an apt partner. Being a teacher meant her personal dancing had fallen to the wayside. Although Nadya wished it was Frost with her out on the dancefloor, Marcelo was proving to be a competent substitute for the moment. As that dance ended he spun her out only to pull her back to offer her a bow and a kiss to the back of her hand. He was a bit odd but at least polite enough. "I will be sure to tell him you said so." Best to let him know she was taken so he didn't push anything further.

Those figures at the back of the bar had Nadya quickly directing Marcelo to one of her fae friends watching them with a coy smile on her face. Lola was surely have fun entertaining Marcelo. Nadya didn't even look back as she weaved her way after those figures out into the fading summer night air. The shadows clung to every nook and cranny and her focus on the pair ahead made it that much easier for the second hunter to go undetected until it was too late. That sudden weight of another grabbing her unanticipated, catching her off guard enough for the hunter's blade to skim across her side bringing blood to the surface. Damnit. Nadya's ability lashed out, piercing the man's brain with splitting agony that he dropped the knife and collapsed to his knees clutching his head in pain. How's that aneurysm feel?

Nadya turned her attention up to the hunter now rushing back, fully prepared to handle them both...until a figure rushed up from behind and launches itself at the oncoming hunter. What in the world was going on tonight? She could only watch the struggle in confusion before the hunter crumpled to the floor, passed out, and the person turned around to face her only for her to recognize him at Marcelo...with a knife sticking out of his chest! "Oh my god, don't-" Her words to not move, perhaps adrenaline not making him realize what just happened, fell on deaf ears as Marcelo then pulled the knife from his chest. Blood flowed freely now from the gaping wound. Nadya's eyes widened in shock. "What in the hell?!" She rushed forward and began to attempt to press her hand to the wound. What good that would do she didn't know but he was going to bleed to death. "What were you thinking doing that?! I had everything under control!...How are you not dead?!"
