West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

Maybe this princess could save herself.

That sounds like a pretty good story too.

The tension in the room was a very physical thing for the young empath. It was almost as though another person sat in with them as they nestled onto the comfy cushions of their new couch. Samantha certainly felt on edge, though she tried desperately to push those feelings to the back burner and focus on the two boys that sat in front of her. She tried, really, to keep a grasp on Troy's emotions, and yet the effort was draining. Never before had Samantha gotten a headache from using that aspect of her power, and yet she could feel a pressure in her temples the more she tried to ease the tension in the room for the two boys. Ah, how this pregnancy was certainly making things harder for her. Still, Samantha couldn't deny the relief that spread over her from merely sitting beside Kit. Though she knew, logically, that Troy needed to be the priority in this moment, she couldn't help the way she leaned in to Kit. Slowly, she pressed her lips sweetly against his. Samantha's eyes fluttered shut as she relaxed against him, coming back to reality only by the throat clearing noise that Troy made. Samantha pulled back, a giddy smile on her lips as she turned her attention to the winged fae. "Oh hush, you." She said playfully, though she allowed herself to sit back away from Kit, if only slightly. She still kept his hand in hers.

Samantha's anxiety only seemed to grow as Kit spoke of the kidnapping that had been the very reason for the separation between the two brothers. As Kit explained the way they'd taken him, that fear continued to swell within the young woman. She could see it as though it was occurring presently, the way he must have struggled to get back to Troy, the anxiety of being powerless. Samantha remembered the way that those three fae had kidnapped her from the party that would grow to be her biggest mistake. She remembered how powerless she had felt throughout the entire thing. How she had, too, begged for death instead of enduring anything more by their hands. The memories only increasing the fear and anxiety and dread in the pit of the young fae's stomach. She tried to focus on the words that Kit had for them, but Samantha certainly felt lost in her own emotions, her powers slipping further and further out of her control.

She heard Troy's words and forced her gaze up to Kit. They'd used him as a blood ritual? "They..." She felt that anger deep in her stomach, the hatred for those women that would drain the man she cared so deeply for. "Please tell me that you ended them," She said fiercely, the young woman unaware of the way her powers had spiraled out of control. Thick, smoky shadows winded their way around the feet of the young mother, curling around her ankles and legs like vines. Samantha's power creating a physical manifestation of how upset she truly was. Those tendrils wound their way around her, and yet the young woman remained entirely unaware of just what was happening until those thick vines forced her hand away from Kit's. Only then did she notice the way the shadows had entrapped her. "Oh, shit," She said dully, staring at the shadows for a moment before she abruptly stood, the shadows disappearing as quickly as they had been created, leaving no trace behind except for the goosebumps on her skin. She crossed her arms as she stood, rubbing her arms to rid herself of the goosebumps. "Are there more of them? Is this something we need to continue to be worried about?" She looked between the two men. "Because I will let nothing happen to either of you, or this child."
