Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Walk me home in the dead of night
I can't be alone with all that's on my mind

How curious and illuminating the night had become, though to be sure any time she spent in the vampire's company was always decidedly illuminating in one way or another. Tonight merely had the added bonus of including the delectable desert before her. Even the surprising appearance of that aforementioned ribbon could not fully distract her from the salty sweet dessert, laying down her fork only long enough to inspect the peculiar and entirely ordinary looking fabric as it was tied around her wrist. It was peculiar to think herself tied to the Italian royal, for many reasons not the least of which being that since leaving her own family the leopard had led a relatively solitary existence. The idea of belonging to someone in such a way typically would make her skin crawl, and yet between this and her recent consideration of joining the Nightshade pack perhaps it was only natural.

The mention that their connection would always allow him ton find her no matter the distance soothed a part of her, to know that she would never be back in the helpless position she was in less than a year ago for she had no doubt that Sebastian would keep his word and come for her always. His insistence that he would no doubt notice her absence for certain reasons had her nose crinkling in mock derision. Sticking her tongue out at him impishly she challenged if that was all he would miss and the responding ring of laughter from his lips was all the answer she needed. "I'll allow it." She waved a hand while a light chuckle escaped her, marring the ruse of indignity she portrayed at the thought. The leopard was nothing if not aware of just how much Sebastian desired her blood, but she also knew it was not the only thing which drew them together.

That query in regards to how that bond might manifest on her end something that seemed to perplex the prince, no doubt her own abilities and supernatural nature would have some kind of effect on it but it seemed only time would tell. The pair retreating to their respective deserts to consider the unknown implications of that union. Carolina's eyes fluttering closed for a moment as she savored the delicacy, entranced by the perfectly balanced treat until the sultry tones of Sebastian's voice pulled her attention towards him once more. His current request perhaps the one that had given her the most pause in their relationship, laughable as that might be. One brow arching thoughtfully as she considered the request though she had no intention of denying it, she could make relinquishing it more enjoyable.

Her request that he make it worth her while drawing that familiar grin across his lips, the one which always had a way of causing her stomach to curl in the most appealing manner. The mischievous tone in his reply one which did not disappoint even as she quickly consumed the bite lingering on her own fork even as he offered that trade. She studied him quietly as he loaded up his own crepe onto his silverware, holding it before her as he awaited her own part of the deal. "Mm, very well." She acquiesced before slicing into her own desert, ensuring she also had a piece of the caramelized bananas and a generous portion of the extra whipped cream she had ordered as well before holding it up expectantly. Leaning forward slightly so the pair had access to the others offering she fixed her eyes on his, their turquoise depths swimming with curiosity and anticipation. "Deal." Her voice barely above a whisper in the intimately quiet atmosphere of her apartment.
