West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

He was nothing short of patient with her as she played with the phone and got the hang of all the buttons and swipes on it before she trusted herself to do the task he had asked of her. She wanted to get this right. Finally she told him she was ready and and shifted to her fox form, gingerly taking the phone from him before trotting into the warehouse. It didn't take her long to find a good hidden spot to take a picture before she shifted again and headed back out to the car. Tetradore seemed more than ready as she raced back to him, shifting back human before she handed him the phone back. He told her it was perfect and she smiled, glad for his approval before she followed him around to the back of the car. As he opened the trunk, her eyes widened in surprise at the duffel bag there. She was curious of its contents but was sure she was going to find out soon enough anyway.

He said her name suddenly and she turned to him expectantly, only to have him grasp her hand and pull her against him. She gasped in shock right as they disappeared, only to reappear in the warehouse where she'd taken the picture. When he released her, she was quick to pull her hand from where it'd been resting against his chest, whether in an instinct to hold on for dear life or push him away, she would never know. She cleared her throat and stepped back awkwardly, having never been that close to a man besides Alexander. At least, he didn't make it more awkward, instantly focusing on the task at hand as he crouched down to open the duffel bag. Her own nerves were forgotten as she leaned in to see what was in it, pulling back only as he handed her a crow bar. She stared at it in question, not sure what to do with it until he explained.

She listened as he described what the crates would have in them and what they were looking for. She nodded, not wanting to let him down as she concentrated on the motions he was making with his hands for the dimensions of the box. As he moved away to pry one open, she moved to another but hesitated with the crow bar held up, not quite sure how to use it. She glanced at him out of the corner of her eye, watching as he pried it up by the edges. Now that she understood how it worked, she took a breath and did the same to the crate in front of her, clenching her jaw nervously as the nails popped out. Sounds were so much louder in the quiet of the warehouse. She glanced toward the door but didn't notice anything, so she moved the top aside so she could look inside. She rifled around a little, trying to be as quiet as possible before deciding it didn't have what they were looking for and moved to another.

It seemed like they did this for hours but it could have only been minutes. She tried to be quick and efficient while trying to be as quiet as possible. She felt like every little noise she made was sure to attract attention but so far, they'd been lucky. Finally, she got to a crate and while rifling, she hit a hard corner. She moved the stuff aside and saw the corner of a box. When she went to lift it, she found it pretty heavy so she turned behind her. "Tetradore!" She tried to whisper it, hoping his keen hearing would pick up on it. "I found something."
