    The North

Within the Northern vicinity of the city the wealthy gather behind meticulously trimmed hedges and high class victorian architecture. The streets are paved with stone, the buildings are made of brick, and the storefronts are brightly lit and inviting. In the North every establishment is made to cater to the rich and the wealthy. Many such places are used to the sometimes peculiar requests of the otherworldly but here there is little that money cannot buy - weather it be illegal or merely looking the other way. Vampires and Dark Hunters are often found upon these Northern streets, their long lives often contributing to their sizable wealth which allow them the luxuries that the North provides.

Killian Carrick

The Call Home ... The Tune In Our Hearts

Killian was still confused as to what Christian was even on about when he asked about the sun. Maybe it was just a secret code or he was actually asking about the sun. Whatever the case, he didn’t want to think too much about it. He just wanted to focus on this conversation he was having with this rather good looking gentleman who was intriguing him at first sight. What was it about him that Killian found himself so wrapped up in? Was it the air about him that just made one forget all their troubles? Or maybe it was those ever so entrancing orbs of his: Those perfect blue eyes that looked like you were staring into a flowing stream or river. Killian was a sucker for eyes, so that would explain it.

Christian did ask about his job at the bistro. It made the Irishman smiled happily at him bringing it up, because it was something he was proud of. He helped Adelaide build that Bistro and he put a lot of love and care into every detail that went into building, like he was a grand architect that wouldn’t settle for second best. Then again, Killian was the kind of person who didn’t to settle for second prize, it was just in his nature.
“I do ‘appen to be the bar tendered actually. Ms. LaBelle asked if I had any skills and I tol’ her I used to hang around pubs a lot when I was back in Ireland. So I picked up on the craft.”
Killian would explain with great delight to Christian, seeing that twinkle in his eyes.

A soft warmth would flush itself across his bearded face, that felt much like a warm and comforting splash of water upon ones face. And his cheeks were much the tint of a soft cherry red. He felt a little embarrassed for being seen like this, but then again, why should he care? There was something about Christian that he liked, and he wanted to know more. But that wouldn’t last long out here in the cold. Killian felt hesitant for a moment with the thought that popped in his head, and he was confused as to why. What was so wrong with asking if they wanted to move this conversation inside? Maybe it was just the way he was thinking of it.

“Quit being a arse, Killian. Just ask him already.” The Irishman thought to himself as he would let his hands slide out of his jacket and come together like he was going to rub them together to keep his hands warm. He took a deep breath and exhaled, it was getting awfully cold. And he wasn’t too sure he could really stand it now at this point. It was just a nuisance now.
“Perhaps would you like to move inside somewhere? It’s awfully cold now.”
