    Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawethorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three story townhouses, often with a one to two car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces.

The Order of Things {Taylor/Adelaide}166.182.84.105Posted On January 06, 2018 at 6:06 PM by William Townsend

It was another day, and another light beam of sunlight peeled through his curtains. He slowly opened his heavy eyes and looked at his digital clock. The time read “4:00 AM”. After having gone to sleep what he considered to be a decent hour, and seeing that this was simply the same hour he always woke up, he slowly would rub his eyes and yawn in a satisfied manner.
Climbing out from the comfortable flannel sheets and warm mink blanket, he turned quickly and made his bed like he always did.
His grey shirt and black pajama bottoms would quickly leave his body as he made for the shower.
Just like his everyday routine, he’d shower in his private quarters and allow the morning tiredness and aches to melt off of his body. The warm water was a relaxing feeling.
He didn’t want to leave it as usual, but he knew if stayed in he’d be off schedule. And he was all about being prim and proper.

Having freshened himself up to his liking and dried off, he apply deodorant and a light cologne that had a soft musky scent.
He walked from the shower with a deep green towel tightly wrapped around his waist, and walked to his wardrobe that he inherited from his Great Grandfather Liam.
It had a perfect cherry stain, and was made entirely from mahogany, which was also great for keeping pests out.
Opening the ornately designed doors, he reached in and grabbed a freshly pressed forest green dress shirt and slacks; He didn’t feel like today would be a big work day, and he was only tending to the dusting and cleaning of the house.
Taylor was scheduled to be outdoors most of the day, which was a great relief for him. He wouldn’t have to see his roughened face, even though he knew his way of thinking was only best for Adelaide.

Dressing his feet with long dress socks, and putting his clothing on, he turned to the mirror and would intricately roll up his sleeves, and then sit in a stool to slip on his working shoes.
Glancing over his attire one more time, he was proud and would shut the wardrobe.
Astutely as ever, he would leave his quarters and make for downstairs, to find himself starting his ritual.
Coffee grinder would start roaring and grinding the fresh coffee beans into a crisp filter.
Townsend would pull a fresh loaf of bread from the cupboard and put it in the oven to stay warm and soft so it would be ready for serving and slicing.
Next, he reached into the refrigerator and pulled out eggs, fresh sausage and many other vegetables necessary for making homemade salsa, and would set them neatly on the countertop.
Thankfully the spice rack was neatly in the center with the seasonings he needed.

The beans had finished grinding and the water was ready for the coffee pot.
He turned his attention to that after cracking a few eggs and would hear light footsteps echo through the area.
Someone was now awake.
