    Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawethorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three story townhouses, often with a one to two car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces.

He chuckled at Townsend's response. "See? I knew you'd get it." He grinned like they shared an inside joke now though he'd seen Townsend roll his eyes beforehand like he was merely tolerating Taylor. Townsend seemed to want to return to cooking breakfast so Taylor let him have his space, not wanting to get in the way since Townsend seemed to have his own routine for the mornings. Townsend didn't respond when he asked to grab a cup of coffee but he knew Townsend heard him as he turned back to cooking the sausage. He grabbed it slowly as if waiting for Townsend to turn and smack his hand in retribution but Townsend seemed otherwise pre-occupied with cooking the sausage. When Taylor asked what kind of chores he would be doing, Townsend seemed to have to think about it for a minute before he answered. Taylor noted the way Townsend's gaze swept over the interaction between himself and Reginald, even chuckling a little which made Taylor smirk. So Townsend did have a soft spot.

He let Townsend get back to cooking, his brow rising when he saw Reginald sneak over to get a piece of sausage out of his fingers when he thought no one else was looking. He tilted his head expectantly when Townsend started going over his work list for the day. He wanted him to mess with the rose bushes and plant some new flowers. Taylor nodded at his question. "Of course. I brought my thick leather gloves so hopefully those bushes will be merciful." He smirked, his eyes twinkling with the thought of more work to focus on for the day. He actually did like keeping himself busy. It made him feel accomplished at the end of the day. He made his plate after letting Adelaide get what she wanted, making sure to thank Townsend for the food before he dug in. He kept sneaking glances over at the dark brunette next to him even between shoveling food in his mouth.

Adelaide had seemed happy enough to see him when he came in. He told her that he was ready to get his hands dirty and she said it was good to hear cause she was sure he'd have plenty to do. He nodded and nudged his head toward Townsend. "If Townsend has anything to say about it, I'm sure I won't get bored." He grinned. As he moved around to sit at the table, he watched Reginald go over to sit by Rose, almost disappointed that he lost his friend but then his gaze swept to Rose. She seemed to be watching him intensely. He smiled. "I'm not giving up on you, pretty girl. You'll like me. Just wait and see." Adelaide was quick to return his smile and then she scooted her chair that much closer, just enough for her knee to touch his with a simmering heat that seemed to travel up his leg and right into his lower stomach. His jaw tightened for a second as he raised a brow at her, his eyes glittering with mischief even as she gave him that sexy impish look.

As they ate, he couldn't stop looking at her. "So, serving any specials at the bistro today?"
