    Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. Although these houses are somewhat small (often two to three bedrooms) they feature back yards, porches, garages and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and for the neighborhood as a whole.

    Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawethorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three story townhouses, often with a one to two car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces.

Of course the two of them would start flirting with each other. Townsend rolled his eyes again. There was just no getting passed them with their antics, he had to. Him and Adelaide had been through a lot and he wasn’t about to let one man ruin their relationship. He just had to smile and bear it for the time being. Deep down, he really wanted to protest this public display of affection they were sharing. But he knew Taylor would only sass him, and Adelaide would come to his aide. Maybe Townsend just felt like he was losing his long time friend to someone else. This was a common thing that people felt, yes? Was this what jealousy was? He shook his head and grumbled under his breath. What a pitiful thought, and even more stupid feeling. This wasn’t like Townsend. He felt annoyed with himself as he whistled for Rose to come him. Taylor would ruffle his own brows at the sight.

”Of course she likes me. Don’t bloody act like you just saw the queen out in public.” Townsend said sharply as he would lower down and give Rose a fresh treat. In some ways, he hoped Rose never grew to like Taylor. Or maybe it was just him being overly protective and judgemental. There was a lot going on in his mind at the moment. He knew that this young male made Adelaide the happiest he seen her, but he just felt that he was just the right material for her. Although, it was better than that other prick her father tried to set her up with. Townsend grumbled again as he thought of that little snot nosed prat, that acted like his own shite didn’t stink. After putting some thought into it, perhaps Taylor was a lot better than that fool. Her father never really did have Adelaide’s best interest in mind, only the image of the family. If only they thought more like the Townsend Household.
“M’lady, I do wonder? Has your father ever said anything about hearing from anyone in the Townsend Household? I do miss them dearly, and I seem to have misplaced my address book. Bloody thing was in my office, but I seem to have misplaced it.”

He asked her calmly as he took a drink of his coffee then turned to Taylor, who was asking Adelaide about the bistro. Of course, he forgot that she was also handling that. What a git. How could he forget that the bistro was practically her passion? Maybe old age was catching up with him, even though he was anything but that.
“Taylor, I do hope you know that after you tend the garden, I will have you tend to the shrubs in the front. They’re dreadful and need pruning. Do see to that after you finish the garden?”
